I don’t know about you but there’s this weird confident and carriage that comes with having some substantial amount of money in your bank account.. 

You literally feel like you can conquer the world.. I on this particular morning was filled with the excitement and believe that I could take on the world! Who wouldn’t? With a six figure sitting nicely in their bank account.. ?

With that in mind.. and grateful for TEDs thoughtfulness.. even though I still feel a pang of guilt for taking his money.. I shake the feeling off and give myself some pep talk.. before stepping out. 

First, I stop over at a travel accessory store and purchased a beautiful travel suit case.. 

If at all I’m going to create an excellent first impression, everything must be top notch!!  I give myself a nod of approval after admiring my newly purchased travel kit.. i tick my to-do list before leaving the store..

Next to the clothing store! I say to my self in delight.. upon my arrival, the store attendant helped in picking up a dozen beautiful outfits.. And literally cajoling me into trying them all out! I had a long day deciding and paying for a few..

I don’t know what was going through my head when I carefully selected some beautiful lingeries but oh well!! It’s better to be prepared than not.. I say to myself with a sly smile! 

Next on my list, The hair store..  Shopping for fancy wigs was such a turn on.. I spent roughly one hour wearing samples and running to the mirror before to judge before finally making my choice.. 

I stop over at a footwear outlet afterwards to stock up on some flats and flops for utmost comfort of course.. and some nice smelling fragrance lastly..  

The excitement I was feeling while doing all these was out of these world.. the more I shopped the more I was eager to see him.. 

The juiciest part for me was having to talk to TED consecutively while I ran my errands.. 

He would tease me and make me choke on my own laughter

Meeting each other was especially trilling because from the onset, i realized soon that he wasn’t the social media bird.. instead of posting pictures of himself on all his pages, he would rather post politics, quotes and what not.. instead of chatting you away TED would rather call you 10 times a day.. I felt it was weird though! But I got around it and learnt to be comfortable with his interests.. 

Although we have exchanged several photos of each other but it’s non satisfying compared to seeing each other in real life.. which hasn’t happened at all.. the trill had been pent up for almost a year.. 

As I rode back home in the taxi conveying all my shopping items I couldn’t stop myself from getting even more excited and overwhelmed with the entire planning..

After a long night of packing and getting ready everything for take off.. My phone buzzed on the kitchen counter.. 

Hey baby! He called out in the sweetest of tones.. Still up? 

Well, Hi! Mystery Man.. i reply in a sexy voice to match his.. I was going to call you before hitting the sheets.. Yes! I still am.. just finished packing .. 

what are you still doing up? I ask him.. 

 just catching up on late night news and checking on my favorite girl he teases.. 

Well she’s all good and set for bed.. hopefully she gets to see her mystery man soon enough.. 

We chat some more before saying out goodbyes and kissing each other over the phone. 

Waking up Saturday morning, my Adrenaline level was super high and pumped up!! 

Yes!!! It’s today!!! I was smiling to my self like a hopeless romantic all morning while I cleaned up my house and finishing up my chores as I danced to music from my speaker.. 

Afterwards, I called Freeda whom I had been talking to about TED and our relationship all along.. 

she was excited for me but also cautioning me to be careful when I get there.. 

My flight was for later in the evening so I still had some time to burn.. I ran off to the saloon to get my hair washed and done.. proceeded to get a well deserved manicure and pedicure then to the spa.. 

Honestly, It was refreshing to have my body spa treatments and body massage.. i felt unbelievably relaxed and confident afterwards.. 

I stopped over at some Male Apparel store to purchased a beautiful tie for TED  and a matching wrist band for both of us.. I had it wrapped up and packaged.. 

Heading home in preparation to hit the airport.. with such a sigh of contentment and elated spirit
