“I have to say this to you guys as a reminder,” Coach Hayashima says to us before we begin our final practice. “As you’re already aware, the media is making a wave about this match being a legendary match. I know it must be a pressure for you to liven up to the media’s perception. So what I want you guys to do is this: don’t give a damn about this being a legendary match. Just play like how you usually do with other teams you had fought before.”
We cheer out loud, indicating that we listen and follow his order. While my reason to feel excited with this match is because of Akira, I know that some of us may not be able to cope with the pressure. In this situation, I don’t think anyone does.
