CHAPTER FORTY FOUR
ROXANNE
I was startled when I heard the Alpha sent for me. He hadn't spoken to me in a while which I was trying to adapt to because he was the Alpha and I was one of his subjects. I had to get used to not being around my Alpha and Beta all the time.
I hastily jumped out of bed, forgetting I was still in my pajamas at twelve noon. I was finding it hard to decide if it was because i wasn't a morning person, or because I was a lazy person.
“He's in his office, just knock at the door,” Beta Miles said before disappearing.
I sucked in my breath and after lots of contemplation, I knocked at the door before slowly opening it.
