Talking behind someone's back, Gemma felt no shame whatsoever.
On the contrary, she sneered, "You useless piece of trash, you actually had the nerve to come back?"
Molly was also angry with Isaac, turning her head away and refusing to look at him.
Isaac placed a tart on the table. "Molly, this is your favorite tart. I just bought it, so eat it while it's hot."
Gemma glanced at the label on the tart and sneered, "Special price?"
"Isaac, Isaac, you're really incompetent and stingy," Gemma mocked.
"Molly was bullied by that Eden Wallis like that, and you don't go settle the score. Buying a few discounted tarts, do you think you can just brush this matter aside?"
Isaac's voice was deep. "I will settle this matter for Molly."
"You think Molly needs you to settle things for her?" Gemma picked up her phone and waved it. "I just called Mr. Harrison. He said he'll seek justice for Molly."
As Gemma finished speaking, the doorbell rang.
Isaac opened the door, and there stood Eden Wallis.
Eden Wallis had bandages wrapped around his head, black eyes, and his hands were full of gifts.
Seeing Isaac at the door, Eden Wallis trembled, almost kneeling down on the spot.
But thinking of his purpose here, Eden Wallis suppressed his fear, forced a smile, and said to Molly, "Ms. Joseph, I was wrong today. It was my mistake, and I'm here to apologize to you."
Seeing Eden Wallis in such a sorry state, Molly frowned and said, "I have nothing to say to you, and I don't accept your apology."

Eden Wallis glanced at Isaac and realized he was being looked at like he was already dead.
Eden Wallis knelt down, crying bitterly. "Ms. Joseph, please forgive me. I truly realize my mistake."
"If you don't forgive me, I won't see the sun tomorrow!"
"Ms. Joseph, you wanted the A8 land, right? I brought the contract. Just sign it, and the A8 land will be yours."
Molly was very surprised to see Eden Wallis in such a state.
Just earlier in the office, Eden Wallis was arrogant, as if he had her under his thumb. Why was he begging like a loser now?
Before Molly could react, Gemma, who was sitting beside her, clapped her hands and exclaimed, "I know! It must be Mr. Harrison!"
"Mr. Harrison must have found out that you were bullied, so he sent someone to teach that Wallis guy a lesson."
Eden Wallis kneeling on the ground was bewildered.
Who is Mr. Harrison?
He came here to kneel because of Isaac!
Gemma walked up to Eden Wallis, looking arrogant. "Since you're here to apologize, you need to show some sincerity."
"How much are you planning to sell the A8 land to us for?"
"Sell?" Eden Wallis was taken aback.
With his life almost in peril, was he still able to discuss selling the land?
"Ms. Joseph is interested in the A8 land, which is an honor for our company. We'll transfer it to Ms. Joseph as a gift, without any payment."
Gemma's eyes lit up. The A8 land was valued at 25 million, and Eden Wallis was giving it to them for free!
Seeing how easily Eden Wallis was talking, Gemma was unsatisfied and asked, "Is this all you can do? That makes it difficult for me."
Eden Wallis was on the verge of tears. He was giving them a land worth 25 million for free, and they were still not satisfied?
But considering Isaac's cruelty, Eden Wallis could only grit his teeth and say, "Then... I'll unilaterally compensate Ms. Joseph with an additional 10 million for emotional distress?"
"Hmm?" Gemma's eyes sparkled. "Are you serious?"

Gemma was about to ask for more when Molly suddenly spoke up, interrupting, "Mr. Wallis, let's be straightforward. Whatever the price for the A8 land should be, that's what we'll pay."
"As for the emotional distress compensation, I don't need it."
Gemma became anxious. "Daughter, are you crazy? That's ten million!"
Molly stubbornly replied, "If it's not rightfully mine, I won't take it, even if it's a billion."
Isaac watched Molly with a smile from the side.
Truly his wife, she had integrity.
"Mr. Wallis, bring the contract."
Eden Wallis quickly opened his briefcase and handed the land documents to Molly.
There were two copies of the contract, and after Molly signed them, she kept one for herself.
"We Joseph Group will transfer the money to your company's account shortly. If there's nothing else, you may leave."
Eden Wallis nervously asked, "So, Ms. Joseph, does this mean... you've forgiven me?"
Molly nodded without saying much.
Eden Wallis glanced at Isaac, who gestured with his hand. Eden Wallis felt relieved and quickly put down the gifts, then hurriedly left.
After Eden Wallis left, Gemma was furious.
"Are you stupid? That's ten million! Do you know that with that ten million, our family could live a good life right away?"
Molly calmly said, "All I know is that if I take that ten million, I'll owe someone a favor, and I might never be able to repay it."
Gemma felt pain in her chest from anger.
But then she thought, if Molly could successfully marry into the Harrison family, what did a mere ten million matter?
Thinking of this, Gemma rushed into the bedroom, changed into a colorful and beautiful outfit, and handed Molly a coat she had bought for tens of thousands.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Molly looked puzzled.
As Gemma helped Molly put on the coat, she said, "Of course, we're going to see your grandmother."

Molly furrowed her brows. "Securing this deal wasn't solely due to my abilities. I don't want to boast about it."
"How isn't it because of your personal abilities?" Gemma pinched Molly's cheek. "Silly child, being beautiful is also a personal ability."
"The A8 land wasn't secured because of you. Was it because of Isaac, this useless guy?"
Isaac smiled without explaining.
Molly said discontentedly, "Don't talk about Isaac like that. It... isn't easy for him either."
Gemma rolled her eyes. "What's not easy about a useless person who does nothing but eat and wait to die? Hurry up and go out before your grandmother takes her afternoon nap."
Gemma pointed at Isaac. "Hey, you, tidy up these gifts, and make sure your hands are clean. Don't steal anything."
