CHAPTER NINETEEN I went back to my motel room, opened my laptop, and took out the list of missing children from this area that Andi had given me. I only looked at the names on the list of girls aged between ten and sixteen. Many were Caucasian, with light colored hair and blue eyes like Christine Conroy. But there the similarities ended. Most of these girls were from dysfunctional homes where mom or dad was either an alcoholic or drug user. A couple of the girls had juvenile records for prostitution and illicit drug use. Too many were runaways. The years they disappeared stretched out between 1978 and 1999. Why did it stop? I did a quick calculation in my head. Robert Cutler would have been forty-one years-old. “Hmmm what happened in your life to make you stop Bobby?” I mused aloud. M
