CHAPTER TWENTY Andrea I had woken early. Well, early for me at least. The first gray glare of the morning sun was pushing its way into the bedroom under the small gap at the bottom of the blind. I was not by any stretch of the imagination a morning person. Cranky for at least the first hour on waking as I dragged myself around the house. It always felt like a super-human effort to get ready for work. But today, sleep eluded me. I felt the warmth radiating off Justice’s sleeping form beside me. He had been awake the entire previous night, and had fallen into an exhausted, well-earned sleep. Poor Darlin’. I wasn’t surprised at my lack of sleep. My head was a mess with the information I’d learned in the last twenty-four hours. Confusion clouded my thoughts and I didn’t know how to feel.
