In the space of less than a week, the mission had changed from a simple and straightforward assignment, to a job that was complicated.
It was playing on my mind, the fact that there were so many murders that I was not informed about before my mission on Earth. At the time, I did think it odd that I was sent down to find one missing girl, but I would never question Archangel Samael nor the Angelic Counsel.
Discovering that my closest soul mate and one true love, who has taken and held my heart for centuries, is here in this town and part of this operation has blown my mind. And she is dying.
