Driving home this afternoon, I told Andi what I had found out about Charlotte Travers and Rebecca Webb. Although upset to find both her parents so deeply involved, she was glad that her list had helped. Her thoughts were preoccupied with the specialist’s diagnosis to spend too much time worrying about her parents.
We discussed her treatment choices and her future plans. Unfortunately, the doctor’s prognosis for life expectancy was short. As her tumor was classed as higher grade IV, surgery was out of the question, and either chemotherapy or radiotherapy were the only two viable options available to her.
