Phil Wells meant the world to me until I was 18.

When I was 7, I was abandoned by my pack. So I became a rogue and was almost killed by beasts. At thattime, Phil saved my life. He held out his hand to me and asked, "Would you like to come with me and live in my pack?"

He turned out to be the Alpha of the famous and powerful Silver Pack.

I thought I'm lucky. Until, on my 18th birthday, my Alpha personally cut open my chest and ripped out my heart. He wants to use my heart to save his Mate, his most beloved woman!

I was supposed to die at the hands of the man I had always loved, but when I opened my eyes again, I woke up in a new body!

This time, the girl who had always admired Phil Wells was dead. I would fight my way to him and tell him, "I'm Vita Spenser, the girl you killed. Now I'm back."

Prolog
Vita's POV The day before I died, I had that dream again. The sky is grey. The moonlight is grey. The gray moonlight turned the world gray and made the dark forest look even more frightening. Many torch-bearers, in silence, carried a poor, bound little girl slowly into the forest. There were children with their parents, looking at the little girl and laughing as if they thought she looked particularly interesting. Only the little girl was crying. The little girl kept crying and shouting, "Mommy and Daddy! Help me! I don't want to be thrown into the forest!" Her father gave her a vicious slap. "Shut up, you disgrace! You are a disgrace to our pack! The witch said that you are a demon because you don't have the wolf even that you're 7 now! If we leave you in our pack, you'll kill us all!" Her mother wailed and held her hand, "My darling! Don't resent your mother! All because you're seven years old and you don't have a Wolf of your own, and Mom can't keep you..." She wept and struggled, but she could not break free. She could only watch everything go away, leaving her alone in the dark forest. The forest grew silent, and the scarlet eyes of the beasts loomed around them. She could even hear the beast's heavy breathing and feel its foul saliva dripping on her face. Her voice shrieked almost hoarse: "Help! Help!" It was as if the moon goddess heard her plea, and just as she was about to be devoured by the beast, a long knife cut the ugly beast in two. Then she saw a handsome young man. He had blue eyes as deep as the sea, and curly black hair. In the moonlight he looked as handsome as a Greek god. He tenderly held out his hand to her. "Would you like to come with me and live in my pack?" Turns out, the little girl was me. And that was my first encounter with Phil Wells.
