FOREVER IN LOVE

"Grrrrr..." The alarm's shrill sound jolted Nana awake. "Ahhh!" she exclaimed, scrambling to silence it. She rushed to the bathroom, nearly tripping in her haste. "Take it easy, sweetie," her mom said as Nana dashed down the stairs to the dining area. "Mom, I'm already running late! This is my first day, and I can't afford to be tardy." "Yes, I know, but eat something first," her mom replied, concern etched in her voice. Nana hastily shoveled more omelette into her mouth, her mind racing with thoughts of juggling school and her part-time job. "See you later, Mom," Nana said, grabbing her bag and rushing out the door. "Be careful," her mom's voice followed her. As Nana stepped off the bus, she gazed up at the imposing mansion that was her new school. The sprawling estate was surrounded by high walls, and luxury cars streamed through the gates. Nana felt a flutter in her chest as she recalled the scholarship exam that had landed her this opportunity. The gateman eyed her warily, no doubt wondering why she hadn't arrived in a fancy car like her peers. Nana approached him confidently, producing her ID card when he asked for her pass. He scanned it, his gaze lingering on her before handing it back and opening the gate. Nana walked into the school's big entrance hall. She felt excited but also nervous. The hall was huge, with tall ceilings and shiny floors. She looked at her phone to find the principal's office. She saw a student standing by the lockers and went to ask for directions. "Excuse me, where's the principal's office?" Nana asked with a smile. The student looked her up and down, noticing her old shoes and jacket. "You're lost already?" she said with a mean smile. "The principal's office isn't for someone like you." Nana felt embarrassed and alone. The student walked away, leaving Nana feeling like she didn't belong. As Nana stood alone, wondering what to do, she heard a commotion of noise from students rushing to the entrance of the hallway. Curious, she joined the crowd and was swept up in the wave of bodies rushing towards the entrance. In the chaos, she was pushed and stumbled, but before she could fall, a girl with silver hair grabbed her arm and pulled her up. "Hey, are you okay?" the girl asked, smiling warmly. Nana nodded, still disoriented. "Yeah, thanks. What's going on?" The girl's eyes sparkled. "BTS is coming to school! They're going to perform and meet with the students. Everyone's excited!" Nana raised an eyebrow. "BTS is schooling here?" The girl nodded. "Yeah, they're students here too! Can you believe it?" Nana's expression remained neutral. "That's...interesting." The girl didn't seem to notice Nana's lack of enthusiasm. "I'm Silver, by the way. I'm a huge fan of BTS. I've been following them since they debuted." Nana smiled politely. "I'm Nana. Nice to meet you, Silver." Silver continued to chat excitedly about BTS, while Nana listened calmly, still unsure what to make of the situation.
