That night, by unspoken agreement, the three went to bed in Crystal’s room, where the biggest bed was. After excusing herself, Crystal went to take a shower, feeling self-conscious and uncertain. From the shower, she could hear the men’s voices as they discussed something. Deciding that not knowing might be the better option, she opened the shower bigger to drown out the noise.
Pulling on shorts and a big shirt to try and hide her body as best she could, Crystal entered the room, to find that both men were missing from the room. Feeling uncertain and a bit rejected, Crystal crawled to the middle of the bed, curling into a ball.
