Chapter 11
Tori POV
I can't believe my brother sold his land cheaply. We all knew he was going to sell it anyway, but he just needed to find someone who really needed it. I didn't even know he already had his builders working on it. The land had good ground for gardening and planting flowers. I was shocked when Bear told my dad that he knew plumbers who would come to lay pipes. He got on the phone with them, and they agreed to come out the next day and start digging and laying pipes. My brother said it would take a year for everything to be built, so we will have a year to get everything ready. I was nervous. I won't be living in Dad's pack anymore; I will be living here. It's only thirty minutes away, so I could always come to visit. I wasn't even thinking about these things. That means I will be in the same room as my mate and sleeping in the same bed. I was getting nervous. I guess he saw it in my face when he hurried over to me, taking my hands and said,
"Tori, take a deep breath in, let it out. There you go. Listen, baby girl, I know you're nervous about us staying in the same bedroom, but I will never make you do anything you do not want to do. We'll go at your pace. If you want me to sleep on the couch, I will. I'll put a couch in our bedroom, and I will sleep on it until you are ready for me to lay beside you." I started to calm down. I knew I would have to get used to having a mate. I'm only twenty-three. I've had boyfriends, but never like this. The furthest I've gone with a boy is just making out and touching each other; that's about it. I know what they look like because I've seen them. But it doesn't mean I've had one inside of me. I've heard that it hurts, and that's what I'm scared of. I need to realize everything will be okay. I will still have my family with me and my sisters, so I know I will be okay. I started to get excited. I always wanted to do a garden; I just needed to wait for the right season to do it. I had so much in mind of what I wanted to plant. I even wanted a greenhouse.
"Isaiah, can you tell them to build a greenhouse as well? We are going to need a training ground, a guard station, and a house where new recruits will be staying in until they graduate. I want us to also have a house away from the pack house. I want the pack house to be a five-story house. I want people to be comfortable. And you know once they find out that he is actually alive, they are going to be coming to look for him. So, we will need to get some rooms ready for them when they do come." I had to calm down. I can't believe I said all this in one breath. My brother was smiling from ear to ear. Then he said,
"I think I will have Ava and Mom help you decorate when everything is built. If it was your decision on everything, everything will be in black and white." I knew he was teasing me, so I stuck my tongue out at him. He started laughing and then hugged me.
So, Bear, when do you want to go and talk to the pack, can you mindlink them?”
Yeah, I can mindlink a few of them, as they want to follow me and not him. I'll mindlink them and let them know that I will be there in a few days to be ready. I can inform them about what's going on. I know they will be excited when I tell them about the new pack land and inform others. However, we need to be careful not to let the asshole know. My uncle can be sneaky, so we need to be cautious. So, Isaiah, when will we be going on one of these pick-up tasks? Just tell me what I need to do and where to be, and I will be there.
We leave tomorrow night. Wear black, as if I need you to hide in the shadows, no one will see you. Make sure you are in all black, as that is an order. If you wear anything light, I will deal with it myself. We will be collecting money from a few people in the next few days. I let them borrow, I let it slide for a year, but they haven't bothered to contact me about it. I found out where they are hiding out, so they will be surprised when I show up at their door. I can’t wait to see him with us on a collection. I've been to a few of them, and sometimes it gets crazy. Once the builders knew what to do with the rest of the things, they set off to work; they will stop at ten pm to rest up and then start back up in the morning. Finally, we left to head back home. I went to my house where I share with my sister and now with my mate. I had a couch in my room, so I told him when we got home, he could lay on the couch in my room. It's a start; we will be in the same room at the same time. I can see how I feel about it. We went to my room; Rachel blinked at me, wiggling her eyebrows, then started laughing as I rolled my eyes. When I got into the room, I changed in the bathroom. He was already lying on the couch. I pulled out a blanket and pillows so he could be comfortable.
You do know, it pulls out; it's a fold out couch that turns into a bed. He nods as he got up and pulled the bed out. I helped him make his bed, and then I got into mine. I heard him get into his. Then I turned the light out, praying to the moon goddess that I won't have a panic attack while he was in the same room with me. I knew all I wanted was for him to come into my bed and take me right there and then; my wolf was giving images. "Girl, will you stop that? I'm not ready for that."
"Oh, come on, He's our mate. It's going to feel nice when he marks and mates with you. Just think how it feels when he's on top of you, pushing in and out of you." "Snow, stop, or I will block you, you horny wolf," she was laughing as she went into the corner of my head. She was looking through my eyes at our mate; I could have sworn she was drooling. Not to mention, my sister Rachel just mind-linked me, giving me wolf whistles and asking if he was big or not. Oh, geesh, come on, man, I haven't even seen it yet. But his chest, oh goddess, his chest; it's built like a goddess. And those arms, I could do pull-ups on those arms. I had to clear my mind because I knew he could smell my arousal, but it was already too late. He spoke up, "You do know I could help you with that. Just let me know when, and I will be over there in a flash fixing you right up. I won't mind one bit, baby girl." Oh goddess, he called me baby girl. I was embarrassed, so I pulled the blankets over my head. I heard him chuckle as he turned over on his side.
"He sure does have a sexy voice when he is trying to seduce you."
"Shut up Cloud," she laughed as she went back to the back of my head. Having him in the bedroom was a bad idea. Oh damn, what a bad idea, but he's here now. I can't just tell him to leave.
