Rida's POV
What in the world did I get myself into? At least he doesn't know my real name. I'm also not going to unblock him. I only met him in the woods to see what he wanted. I wanted no part of him. I could play this game, and I'm going to end this. I am going to play the goodie-goodie and let Cole and Rachel know what Kevin is going to do. And then I'm going to be on her good side until the battle arena. Once that is on, then she is going to regret ever trying to befriend me. I'm not so nice when it comes to someone that I want, and I want Cole. I didn't bring him back to reality just for someone to take him away from me. I had my burner phone. After I make this call, I will take out the SIM card, turn it off, and then break it in bits. I hid my voice so they wouldn't know who it was. Clicking on the number, I hit send. Once they answered the phone, I began to speak quickly,
"Hello, this is Alpha Cole. How can I help you this late at night?”
"Sir, you don't know me, but I know you. Kevin is going to have a beautiful woman join your pack to seduce you to have your mate reject you. Be aware she is clever," I hung up the phone, then dialed Kevin's number one last time. He answered, annoyed,
"Who the f**k is this?"
"You know damn well who it is. The deal is off. I didn't pay you anything. I had told the alpha your plan. They now know everything. I will handle things on my own from this day forward. I do not need your help. This number will be blocked. Oh, by the way, if you tell them it's me, I already told them it was. Nice try, but no cigar," I hung up, blocked the number, took out the SIM card so he wouldn't be able to trace it, then destroyed the phone. I'll make sure they never find the phone or who called them.
Alpha Cole's POV
I didn't know what or who that was, but I didn't have time for this. I was trying to get paperwork done and then spend some time with my mate. Rachel came into the office just when the phone started ringing. Just my luck. I wasn't going to answer it, but she told me to go ahead and answer it; it might be important. When I did, I answered it.
This is Alpha Cole. How can I help you tonight? Then a weird voice on the other side of the phone quickly started talking.
"Sir, you don't know me, but I know you. Kevin is going to have a beautiful woman join your pack to seduce you and have your mate reject you. Be aware, she is clever," then the phone was disconnected. Who? What? I was really confused.
"What's going on? What did they say?" Looking up at Rachel with a confused look on my face, I told her what the caller had said.
She said that this guy named Kevin is going to have a beautiful woman join our pack to seduce me and have you reject me. Her jaw dropped, and if it wasn't attached, it would have fallen to the floor. Grabbing her and pulling her close, I felt like I had to reassure her.
"Honey, you have nothing to worry about. I am very loyal to you. They don't stand a chance, and if anyone tries to join the pack, I'll put them in the cells.
"Oh, I'm not worried at all. Let her join. I want to see what she tries to do because at every turn she makes, I will be there to put her in her place. She won't stand a chance with me. I will beat her down until she is unable to walk." Damn it, I love how she talks like this. Walking over to the door and locking it, then I walked back to her, lifting her up to put her on my desk. My claws came out, lifting up her skirt and ripping her panties off. Then I bent down on my knees, looking up at her, I smirked.
"I'm just a little hungry, I want a snack before we go out." Moving her legs apart, moving my head between her legs, I inhaled her scent. Damn, she smelled so freaking good. My finger went inside her entrance, my tongue licking at her c******s. Her back arched up, and she laid back on my desk while I enjoyed my snack. I had her screaming out in pleasure as she climaxed into my mouth, licking up her juices.
"We are going to dinner; please don't put on any more underwear. I want to smell your arousal all through dinner, and I might even sneak a little snack under the table. Besides, we will be in our room there; no one will bother us unless we want them to." Rachel blushed. I loved how her face had a rosy look to it when she blushed.
"Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, I'm ready. Let's get going." We left, but it was still on my mind who called me. It really sounded like Rida. Why would she disguise her voice like that? How come she just couldn't tell me? We were friends. How did she even know Kevin unless she was the one that tried to set it up, then changed her mind? I'll talk to Rachel about it later on; right now, I just want to spend time with my mate.
