Bushed

"Phew... Its been 3 hours in the realm and I could eat a whole wild boar and sink my teeth directly into its roasted meat. Hahaha. My gosh... The next time before we enter, it's best to either eat first or bring in some food along with us, what do you think, dear?" I slumped on the floor of the study as I leaned on the crates of medals that were stacked on the handcart. There was no need to bring these crates anywhere else and we would be needing a few of these medals as a boost for the other Adventurers to achieve better results, so we decided to leave the handcart and the crates here. If we need the space, we would push them out temporarily. "I am hungry too, dear... You go eat a wild boar while I eat a red deer instead. Ouch...! My tummy hurts really bad." "Luckily I got the kitchen helpers to prepare a mini feast for us. Come on dear, help me crawl out of this space and bring our poor twins to the dining table and dine together, shall we?" Due to Heather's quick thinking, she was able to anticipate that she would not be able to prepare dinner herself so she had gotten the domain helpers to mind the twins while the kitchen helpers to prepare the roasted chicken complete with roasted or steamed vegetables at the sides. We both were so hungry that we can't wait to start dinner as early as possible. The printouts were carried by Heather that had been stuffed it in between the journal and before I leave the study, I carried the skills book with me to show it to Eagle later on after dinner. We staggered to our feet and after steadying ourselves (this is due to the hazards of spending too much time while piggybacking someone), we walked out of the study and down the stairwell as we saw that dinner had already been served and the twins were racing around the ground floor of the domain on their trikes. The moment the twins saw us, they screamed for their mummy and daddy and raced towards us. Heather placed the journal on the end of the table before she hugged and kissed the twins and carried them one by one to the dining table as I helped to clear their dangerous toys out of harm's way. As usual, I took my seat before the twins as I would be feeding them and they would also want me to feed myself. Today I've used up quite a lot of energy as I'm involved with a wrestling match and then spending 3 solid hours in the realm. Hot steaming rice was scooped onto the plates and placed before me. Heather had her own plate as well and the platter of a roasted whole chicken and with all its beautifully, deliciously well done steamed or roasted vegetables that were neatly lined at the sides. We pulled the platter of roasted chicken closer to us as I pointed to the twins what kind of vegetables they would like to nibble on, just like their rabbits. After pointing put several vegetables to them, Jay-R took a halved steamed sweetcorn which I place it on his small plate on the highchair while Amy had some uncut French beans and some carrot strips on her plate as well. The children picked their foods after their hands were wiped down with a damp cloth as they used their thumbs and forefinger to pick their food on their plates and started to put them in their mouths. They were munching noisily and it seemed that forgoing lunch and relying on snacks alone is not good for the children. They are too young to complain that they are hungry or thirsty, so from today onwards, we both had learnt our lessons. All of us need to be fed first before doing our own things in the realm...! The roasted chicken was quickly devoured as I removed the whole thigh from it and after shredding some of the meat, I fed the children along with some rice. After the children had their mouths filled with rice, both of them pointed at my mouth and I began to scoop some rice and meat and only began to eat after our children had theirs first. Heather had removed both of the wings parts as she said she would need two wings to fly properly. Hahaha. There was some mushroom gravy that was prepared earlier to accompany the roasted chicken and that gravy became like a bit of soup to us to wet the rice so it's not too dry if we gobbled them down like a turkey...! The children had finished their vegetables and asked for others to be placed on their plates, so Heather made a choice for them as she placed some roasted mushroom, boiled potatoes and other vegetables on their plates. The children are not fussy when it comes to greens as they used to observe us eating lots of green too. After we had our fill, we rested for a while at the dining table while we finished up the remaining vegetables and chicken as we dipped them into the bowls of mushroom gravy. After a hearty dinner, the dining table was cleared away as we viewed at what had been done in the realm especially the printouts that Heather had done. It was simply beautiful, the images were eyecatching and at the same time, it represents a thousand words. "Here, take a look at this and see if you can understand images rather than words." I motioned to one of the domain helpers as she had cleaned up our twins' faces, hands and mouths with a damp towel. She came forward and took the paper that had the present products on hand and one look she could understand that it stands out to promote the current products that we have. Then I handed her another one without words and had several images that depict the new upcoming products and when she saw them she can't help but giggled as the images were too cute and easy to understand. She saw images that show clearly of all the new products that would be introduced in the market. "Your Majesty, I understand these papers here and I can't help but praise the artist who had done a terrific good job on drawing and colouring these pictures." "The first one is the current products that we have and the second paper is the one that would be produced once the samples had been completed and the factories had been constructed." I smiled at her answers and knew she was also a literate person as she was able to read what the first paper with the images and text all about. But the second paper with no words in it could be for two reasons. One reason would be the availability of these products to be sold in the towns and secondly, it would mean that there would be a need for manpower to work and live in our town as well. In other words, we used a stone to kill several birds at the same time...! "Very good observation there. By the way, the person who did the drawings and colouring of these pictures is Her Majesty and no one else." I merely stated the truth and this inflated the head that was on the top of Heather's shoulders right now. Hahaha. We then discussed the sizes of the images and the number of copies that would need to be reproduced in the realm when an idea struck both of us. Firstly we would be making these printouts and hand them over to the 15 towns that we currently supplying with bread and the other products. Secondly, the other 15 cities and its satellite towns would also be distributed to the respective merchants that came in to purchase the products according to their minimum order quantity every fortnight. Thirdly, even though its already a bit too late to recall back the Adventurers since there was no way for us to reach them anyways, the other two remaining parties would be the ones responsible to handle the tasks of distributing these printouts and tell them of the availability of the products and also the manpower that we need that would eventually fill up the population quota. Fourthly... There's no fourth option so we just let it be for the moment as we discussed on the number of printouts that we would be making for both of the papers. "Dear, I will enter the realm with you to make 500 prints, how about that? The papers would be those discovered towns to serve as a promotion of the products, work availability and to entice them to come here to become residents." "We still have the crop fields to work on if we intend to fill up all the houses within the residential clusters." "Even if the products would not hit our base minimum orders for the next few months since winter is coming, at least we would be creating awareness to others." "I guess, the person who would be great at handling this matter would be Marcel and his wife, Maricel." Heather highlighted it to me and I agreed on what she was saying after all because she would not spout nonsense when it comes to the developments of our town...! Out of the corner of her eyes, Heather saw the skills book called 'SHOUT' that was placed next to her journal and she asked me what this skills book was all about. I explained to her that this skills book would be discussed with Eagle soon and it was one of the keys that might be used to unlock some of the memories in the back of my mind. "This skills book along with other skills book found among the crates in the Fusion Chamber in the realm would be beneficial for a Ranger-Assassin like me. There are skills books on bow attacks, dagger skills, chants, hexes and spells too." "This 'SHOUT' skills book had those uses like rallying the allies, giving protection, intimidate the enemies and also healing too. There are about 12 classes of fighters and each of them had their own set of skills that could be used individually by its own class it even be shared among all." "Take for example a shout called 'Make Haste', when I shouted and when those within earshot heard me, they would be able to move 33% faster for at least 10 seconds. This gives the allies to move to another location or to flee from the battlefront for safety reasons." I explained in detail to make Heather understands fully of the use of these skills book since she was not a combatant before and neither was I until only recently after the séance that told me I was a reborn and a transmigrator. "Oh... I get it dear. So basically it's a skills book that had been enchanted, right? It's pretty complex but I get the whole picture. If let's say you shouted, 'Dinner Time' then those within earshot would all gather around and head to the Greasy Spoon or the nearest outdoor dining area, am I right? Hehehe." The way she put it into her own words may sound nonsensical but she got the whole idea after all. Soon we were making up a lot of nonsensical shouts as we laughed at the table and were being observed by our twins. Since they had already taken their dinner, it was time for them to have some milk so the domain helpers went to fetch two cups of warm sweet red apple milk. When the twins saw the bamboo cups being brought in from outside, they knew its time for them to snack and then they would be pretty drowsy and it would soon be bedtime for them both. Hahaha. Maybe there are some herbs inside the milk to make the twins behave in that manner. Hahaha.
