Yay... Yay... Yay...

"Good morrow, Your Majesty. Am I disturbing your time after your dinner right now? If it is then I would come a bit later." Eagle sauntered in and greeted us at a distance because he saw us still at the dining table as the twins were happily sipping on their sweet red apple milk. "Oh, hello Eagle. It is alright we had finished our dinner some time back and I believed you had yours too, right? Besides, we were just discussing on the shouts based on the skills book that I have before me right now." "Please do come in then, Eagle. You are most welcome." I motioned for Eagle to enter and join us at the dining table and asked if he had his meals already and if not, we would get it delivered to him instead. I guessed he was still stuck at having dinner at 4 in the afternoon and then midnight snack somewhere between 10 in the night to 2 in the morning whenever he feels like having a bite to eat. Eagle seated himself before wus and he saw the skills book before me but had not made any moves to ask or retrieve the skills book. He saw the title of the book and he was deeply piqued as he sat there fidgeting with his fingers as he twiddled them about. "Come, Eagle. This is the skills book that I am talking about and there are virtually hundreds of these books lying around in the realm." " I haven't gone through it since my guidance system informed me that once the book had been comprehended it would disintegrate." "I wonder if it would be still the same effect as it did in the parallel universe or the centuries that had passed us by." I handed him the book that was laying before I and Eagle held the book gently as if it was something very precious to him and filled with mystic...! He carefully thumbed the pages of the book and was surprised that some of the 'SHOUT' commands really relate to what he had learnt back at the Shadow Guild. After he had carefully thumbed the pages right till the end, he handed the book to me and said, "Your Majesty, what you have before you is truly a gem and cannot be found anymore around in the lands, no matter how one would preserve the book." "I have not seen the skills book before but one thing I could say is that it corresponds to some of the commands that I had been taught in Shadows Guild." "The commands for these skills enable one to rally the allies, heal and also at the same time to improve the battle conditions and to recover back to a safe location." "This skills book that you have before you had been passed down through generations and all that we Shadows have are a few, maybe just 3 to 5 % of the skills that had been written inside it." "Frankly speaking, the skills book that you have may have come from Robin the Hood, or maybe it is your former self that had duplicated these books and passed down to all the warriors that had been with him to eradicate the gnolls, goblins, orcs and other vile creatures from destroying mankind that time." "From the annals, it was recorded that those mythical vile creatures were being ordered to be eradicated by a Sheriff from Nottingham." "But truth to be told, we do not have any other counts of records prior to the eradication and the annals seemed to be buried among other piles of unaccounted events." Eagle narrated to us from what he believed was to his best knowledge and from there we would be able to imagine how harsh life was. In fact, it was much harsher than us and I really hoped to dig more information about Robin the Hood since I had lived a certain part of his life. "Your Shadow Guild is only able to cover 3 to 5% of the total number of shout skills book here? That's really paltry, don't you think so? I was thinking that you might be able to learn at least 50% of the contents in this skills book." "Nevertheless, as what you had mentioned earlier, this skill book had already been extinct within your Shadows Guild, am I right, Eagle?" I asked as Eagle pondered on as he eyed the book they were before me once again before he replied, "That's right, Your Majesty. The skills book before you had already gone extinct and there's no other book anymore that existed in this lands other than the one that liked so pristine, before you, Your Majesty." I was surprised by his answer that the skills book was kept in such a good condition after 300 years or so. Actually, it is not so since its being kept in a sort of time capsule and things happening between the time my former self was in Robin the Hood's body, and the time the former self as Audemars himself was just a matter of months and maybe a year or so? Whatever the reasons, it is not of much importance but the thing is that the skills book that was before Eagle now was more than 300 years old in this world...! Alright Audemars, you don't have to panic or hyperventilate. "Ceres, are you there?" I called out to my guidance system as I placed my forefinger to my lips as I expected silence from everyone. "Yes Audemars, I am here and I know what you wanted to ask me." "Firstly, you wanted to ask me how come the skills book that Eagle had read did not disintegrate." "Secondly, you also wanted to know how come Eagle managed to learn up to 3 to 5% contents of the skills book." 'Thirdly, you wanted to ask me a question if you could see their attributes and also if they were to be adorned with blue sapphires, their mana pool would also be increased, thus giving them an opportunity to be able to grasp 50% contents of any skills book they you would being from the realm to this real world." Ceres went quiet and during narration, Heather was reclining towards me and placing her ears to my chest, my tummy and even placed them to my ears as well to eavesdrop on what Ceres was trying to convey to me. The twins looked at what their Mummy was doing and can't help but laughed as they too wanted to reach out to me and do the same. Hahahaha. "Hang on a minute, guys. I am communicating with my guidance system and Heather, my dear... Ceres cannot sound the way it is back in the realm and can only sound in my head. I would be talking verbally to Ceres right after this, even though it may sound one-sided." I managed to comfort Heather when she remembered the to used to say if I were to talk verbally, it may sound like I was a schizophrenic person. Hahaha. "That's right Ceres. I wanted to ask the question and somehow had formed them in my head and you were able to read my thoughts. So tell me, what would the answers be and at least I could share with Eagle right now." The moment Eagle heard his name being mentioned he stood up at eight in his seat as if he was facing an invigilator in front of him during an examination...! "Firstly, the skills book that Eagle had just read did not disintegrate is because I do not have the answer for it." "Maybe it would disintegrate in the other world but in this world, it is just considered as a boom they were filled with text and explanation for each shout command and mana consumption." Ceres paused and waited for me to verbally talk to her while I asked, "Would the skills book disintegrate right after I had read and comprehend every single one of them?" "I don't think you would be able to do it in a matter of just flipping through the contents. There are the normal, advanced and elite categories and each would consume 5, 10 and 15 mana points per use. Besides, you need to master the normal ones first, then the advanced and lastly the elite categories." Ceres once again paused as I asked another question, "So this means the skills book would only disintegrate once I had read and comprehend the elite category, am I right to point that out?" "That's right, Audemars. To be exact, you can read all the normal category for all the skills book available in the realm and there won't be any changes to the book at all. Besides, the normal category is well rounded to be used and easily remembered." Ceres paused while I verbally told her to continue. "Secondly, Eagle only managed to learn only 3 to 5% of the contents of the skills book is due to the fact that he does not have a system and nor do the rest of the Shadow unit members." "Take, for example, you, Audemars, for a start, you only had 20 mana points in your mana pool and since I am unable to see Eagle's attributes, I could say he also had 20 mana points and no way of regeneration and now way to find out more for himself." Ceres paused to let the narration sink in before I verbally called out, "So, Eagle and the rest of the Shadow unit members do not know their attributes and do the third eye be able to let me see them?" "How about just how when I wrestle with the 4 guys and I called out to you to show me their stats. I saw their health points in a sort of a bar and when I successfully landed a hit, the health points drop significantly." When I verbally asked Ceres, I didn't realise that I had let the cat out of the bag. Heather was looking sideways at me as she turned her head to face me directly and mouthed the words, "You're Black Mantis??!!" I had to wave my hand at her and it seemed like a pretty rude gesture as she turned her head back and sat down in her seat and crossed her arms across the chest. Sigh... This definitely signifies unhappiness and the refusal to chat and cooperate with me at this moment. "You only get to see their health bar. Other than that you won't be able to see because it's not significant. Unless you are facing a mage, then you would be able to see the opponent's health and mana points." "As for the third question in mind, you can try to let them use the trinkets like how Robin the Hood prepares for all of his armies before." "Using the trinkets and adorned with blue sapphires would be good. Try to socket one gem per accessory and then let them learn the skills book." "If they could master all the normal category and utilise all of the commands, then I think you had succeeded on increasing their mana pool." "Remember, a trinket may have up to 3 sockets so just put one blue sapphire each and the rest would be according to your preferences." "In that way, you are helping the Shadow unit members to reach greater heights...! " Ceres went quiet since she had finished saying her piece in my head and I had nothing more to ask or say to Ceres at this moment. "Eagle, I have some questions for you and I am sure you would say yes to all of them. Firstly, you wanted to learn all the commands from this skills book, yes? Ceres told me to tell you to master all the common and normal category ones first." "Secondly, you want to master all the commands and not only for the 'SHOUT' skills book but also dagger mastery and bow mastery as well, am I right?" "Thirdly, you want the Shadow unit members to become strong and formidable than ever before than the present so that you would be able to serve those whom you are loyal to, am I right?" I paused as Eagle stood up, raised his fist in the air, sucked in a lungful of air and bellowed out, "YES...! YES...! YES...!!!" The twins heard Eagle bellowed out and they too stood up in their high chairs, raised both of their short, chubby arms and shouted, "Yay... Yay... Yay..." much to Heather's and Eagle's surprise.
