Thursday, 25th August 1442 The twins had just had their breakfast of oatmeal with some mashed ripe bananas in them and also with sweetened milk as after they were being fed by me (they had no chance to fling their food around if they feed themselves), they burped and laughed at the same time at their reactions. The twins had a wonderful time for the past few days since I had completed the collection of biodata into the Marriage Contract and had gone against the records that were set much earlier in the census population journal. After the twins had their breakfast and after pointing their fingers at my mouth, I too joined them for breakfast but not oatmeal, bananas and milk since I am lactose intolerant and bananas were my morning enemies. I won't mind having bananas at a later time in the day but it's a no-no right in the mornings. I had thick slices of toast bread with molten butter and a fruit jam spread on it along with 2 hard-boiled eggs instead. Likewise for Heather and after we had our breakfast, we had the helpers prep the twins to get ready for their daycare. Within some 10 minutes or so, their Big Brother Clayton and his little sister came over and took them to school next to the domain. The twins bade us their farewell as their Big Brother and Sister held their hands as they walked to school. Now it's just left me and Heather with a few of the helpers that helped packed the domain after our breakfast. I was about to head to the settee area when I was approached by Gwen with several engineers from the Guild. From the excited looks on Gwen's face, it showed that she had acquired the designs for the Adventurers Guild that she had in mind and would only be left to direct where the building would be next situated. "Good morrow, Your Majesty... Hope we never caught you at a bad time. I had gone over to the engineers and had gotten the blueprint of the simple design for the Adventurers Guild, uniforms as well as the emblem for the members as well." Gwen excited presented her draft of the Adventurers Guild building that was made by the engineers. She spread out the draft in front of me and pointed out the details and like a small girl, she was pointing to the important areas of interest for both of the floors. It was going to be a two-storey building and the designs include some resting rooms on the upper floor while the lower floor consisted of some benches as well as a registration and task delegation table. "What do you think of this, Your Majesty? This is a simple design with no frills whatsoever and the ground floor would have a wide opening with no doors." "Here is also a sample of a sketch made by Innes for the set of uniform and colours the adventurers would be made to make their identity more prominent and presentable." "Here's also a design of the emblem that I would like to propose to be seen on the left-hand side of their uniform and also to be designed and be placed at the top of the Adventurers Guild." "Flags would be presented at the rooftop along with our colours as well. What do you think, Your Majesty?" "Also, there's a design that the Shadow units would like to propose and that's one of the parts where the soldiers would be performing their routine exercises as well as an endurance test for participants as well." "Here, you can have a look-see at these designs and tell us what you think. Hope you could have these arrangements approved so we could embark on the Adventurers Guild soonest possible." "I really can't wait to see those interested adventures signing up to be part of the member. Teeheehee..." It was kind of rare to see Gwen speak so much at a single time since she would speak only on certain matters that interest her such as hunting, hunting and more hunting. Hahaha. Besides, seeing her look and sound like an excited little girl also piqued Heather's interest as she sat down and began to look at the blueprints that the engineers had prepared. "This seemed to be a good and simple design for an Adventurers Guild here in this town. Besides having a hunting group, these adventurers would also be tasked to bring in some kill as well don't you think so, Gwen?" Heather asked and Gwen excitedly nodded her head and replied like a cuckatoo bird, "Yaa... Yaa... Yaa... They could bring in more kill and they could earn coins too, regardless of the weight. Is that right, Your Majesty?" In fact, I had agreed with what Gwen had said. The last hunting games that she had organised did bring in lots of game meat and this helped the community a lot. Those participated were paid and the meat was sold back in the grocery stores as well. It's really a win-win situation for us. I looked at the Adventurers Guild and discovered that the design was rather simple and it could be built by using bricks or half bricks and wooden panelling. Since we have ample bricks, to begin with, we would make the lower floor be the foundation while the upper floor would be made of wood instead. The second-floor area had no partition but there were several bunk beds to be placed at the end of the floor and a section would be divided for the adventurers to change and shower. Another section would be for the adventurers to set up their own discussion et cetera. The ground floor was much simpler where there would be two tables, one for registration and the other to release the tasks. There would be some benches in the hall to let the adventures to sit after their initial registration before they gather their own parties to take on the task at hand. On top of that, there would be a reward stated at the side of the task so the leader of the party would be able to know how many members they require as they would be able to split the reward accordingly. The tasks were also indicated by the ranking system — one star for easy, two for medium and three for hard. This would easily reflect on the difficulty levels as it would also denote higher reward system. "We do not have any queries in this and the uniform drawn up by Innes looked wonderful. It's meant to be worn by both men and women, right?" "So the colours reflected is also based in our colours as well. Very good then, it's approved and I love the emblem design. It's a simple cursive capital 'A' and this could be the Ace of our future to come." I nodded and approved the design and the commencement of the building of our very own Adventurers Guild. It may be small but its a start and I don't think there would be adventures who would stay there to sleep since they already have their own houses to return to. Gwen was rather ecstatic since she had received the good news and was about to leave and inform Innes to proceed with the uniforms when I stopped her with a question. "Do these adventures register themselves for free or they need to pay something to compensate for the uniforms and the emblem?" Gwen pondered for some time and replied that the adventurers would only need to pay a one-time registration of 10 coppers to get the set of uniform and the emblem. "That's a fine deal then. At least the adventures could be distinguished with another set of designs that was what I had been wearing for two years. Hahaha." "I will discuss with Innes on some new designs for our wardrobe. I guess its time for me to change the colours to be more vibrant then. I think adding blue, yellow, white red, black and green as its primary colours would be nice once in a while." I remarked as I laughed at the way my own wardrobe that had the least clothes as I insisted on wash and wear. I also avoid piling up too many clothes in them until I had no idea what I would be deciding what to wear for the next day or even half a day. I turned my attention to another draft and there was an assortment of 12 stations that the engineers explained and called them "Redesigned Combat Obstacle Course" or "RedCoC" Weird name right? And some of you would be repeating that name several times and it turned vulgar all of a sudden. Hahahaha.
