The eccentric Joan the Alchemist called out to my other self as he was absorbed in his own thoughts. "Heh, another piece of invaluable information is coming my way...! It would be better for me to get close and get a hold of what they are going to reveal...!".
I thought to myself as I got be journal ready in my hand as I sauntered near to listen in more clearly.
"One of the ingredients is known as acetone and it is being used to clear away the nail polish once it's hardened or chipped off or when someone wanted to change to a new shade or even make a lot of shades per fingernail."
" It could also be used to add to the perfume to make it longer lasting. The other ingredient inside the beaker is used as a primer for the nail polish."
" That's all to it. Not for exploding in one's face or to scare the rabbits from their burrows."
The other self-explained as I made a note of it and somehow I wished they I could get these samples for myself too. "Sigh... Didn't know that getting to know my old self is quite taxing. Hahaha."
I wondered if the samples could be found in the realm since I had seen the Fusion Chambers and wondered if my other self had managed to duplicate it and hope that these materials are readily available in my real world.
At least I won't have to wreck my brain to be thinking about the ingredients and their scientific name. Right now I do have their common names — acetone and primer. Hope this would be enough for a start or else I have to research for the Alchemist to mass-produce later on.
The next thing I heard is the ingredients that had been rattled off by Pointus, my other self's brother in law.
Basic foundation makeup ingredients.
Arrowroot Powder
Ground Cinnamon and Nutmeg
Olive Oil.
It's a mix of 50/40/10.
Eyeliner ingredients.
Activated charcoal
Original, water-based, aloe vera gel-based and coconut oils based.
Its mixture is 90/10.
This product has one colour but 4 types
Lipsticks come in a clear gloss.
Coconut oil, beeswax, butter and essence.
The ratio for this would be 50/25/25.
Use a double boiler to melt the beeswax, then add coconut oil and butter. Once it's cool, add the essence.
For colour shading and intensity beet, cinnamon or turmeric to have the colours of pink, light brown or golden brown.
Our lipsticks come in 9 shades.
Eye shadows ingredients.
Arrowroot powder and butter.
The ratio would be 80/20.
Use the beet, cinnamon or turmeric to have pink, light brown or golden brown depending on intensity.
This eye shadow has 9 colours.
The blusher ingredients.
Arrowroot powder, beetroot for pink, annatto for orange, madder root powder for red to purple and activated charcoal.
The mix would be 45/45/10, 40/40/20 and 35/35/30 for 3 colours and 3 shades.
There are 9 variants altogether.
I was madly writing the ingredients and somehow Ceres had the ability to replay back so I would not miss any of the details.
It seems that the ingredients are what a herbalist would be most familiar with and Priest Hendry would be the best person to help us out in these matters.
"What a fruitful trip... I guess we won't get any better than this and this would also wrap up our list of health and beauty products, am I right Ceres?"
I finally managed to note down all of the details and even had gotten the spellings wrong. Since the ingredients were rather alien to me but with Priest Hendry's and assistance from the rest, the ingredients were actually readily available in the world.
Since I had gotten what I need from this realm, I decided to keep the journal aside and ask Ceres on what else I would be able to know about the flame which was at the back of my mind right now.
As I had been able to create a Fireball from the Sun's Eye, the Psi orbs and also the furnace to make pills through thought, I wanted to venture more of what I could do.
"There's actually one more that you could learn. You might dismiss the idea of conjuring fireballs from the tips of your fingers but you could use another one called the Diamond Thunderbolt."
"Come, let's get out of here and I bring you to Thailand where you had learnt about the positioning of your hands to make a diamond and also how to conjure up the Diamond Thunderbolt, alright?"
Ceres informed me as I agreed and once more the set of images flew past me and I ended up in Thailand where I saw my other self twiddling his fingers to make some shapes.
"What's my other self is trying to do Ceres? Why was he twisting his fingers in that manner just to make a triangle?" I asked curiously since I saw my old self was trying hard to follow what the bald-headed man in front of him was instructing him of what to do.
"Your other self is trying to manipulate his fingers to make certain hand gestures that would activate the multishot of fireballs instead of shooting them by shooting simply by pointing your fingers."
"This is an activation process and you should try to follow it too. Just make a triangle with your hands but you entwine your fingers in that manner."
"In this way, in case you happen to point something to the sky or at someone, you would not accidentally activate the multishot of fireballs."
I remembered that Priestess Imelda was pointing to her nose and then laughed together with Priestess Farah and I suspected that they were poking fun at me.
Incase I were to dig a booger out from my nose, I would inevitably incur an accident and my nose would have another hole to breathe in and out...! Hahaha...!
I followed what my other self was doing and it was kind of weird. It is like the Sun's Eye but then it's much more complex with the twisting of fingers and such. Finally, I got it right and I felt a surging power that began to accumulate in the centre of my hand.
"Control it with your mind. You could only shoot it if you command it to shoot forward other than that its just a feeling of surmounting power that builds up in your hand and would be released at a moments notice."
I was advised and I told the Fireball to stay where it is and not blast anywhere around the area and somehow, the multishot of fireballs seemed to intensify and quietened down with no intention of coming out from the centre of the triangular part of my hands.
"This is called Diamond Thunderbolt. Your hands and fingers were entwined in such a way that it resembled a diamond and this is the activation key."
"Without this to work, your Diamond Thunderbolt would not be utilised. Likewise, for your Sub's Eye, it would not work unless you make the triangular shape in front of you at a slightly elevated angle."
I was glad there was a safety mechanism somewhere and it's only being activated upon such manipulation and angle. I untwiddled my hand and the surmounting energy subsided. I then made another few more attempts and the feeling came and went.
"Audemars, you had already learnt the basics and hope you would protect the living, be it humans, animals or nature."
"Do not force unto them since these powers that had been bestowed to you in your first leap before would be for the benefit of good and against evil."
"I don't have to tell you much about good and evil but I think you should be able to know what's coming for you in the next few sessions to come."
"Maybe it's faster than you imagined but I'm sure it would be of use to you somehow."
The last few sentences that Ceres had mentioned struck a chord in me. It's as if the guidance system was already telling me what I would be using it for in the future and would be expecting to use them soon against evil.
Does that mean that I would be on the road again soon?
I can't put my finger on this matter much since I do have some projects that I need to finish up.
Besides, there's a lot of other tasks that I would be monitoring and once I've done that, I might be in the road to seek those mythical creatures and maybe finding the truth that's out there, lying for me to unearth.
"Alright Ceres, it's time to go now. It's been some time since in here in this realm and I promised Heather that I won't be taking too much time here."
I told Ceres and the guidance system then shut off the images before me and send me through a vortex.
When I opened up my eyes after I had exited my meditative state of mind, I was in my study room and the journal I was holding beside me was filled with lots scribbles but I knew it contained lots of valuable information as I saw the word Beauty World written and circled a few times around it.
I guess they it would not hurt anyone if I were to use the word Beauty World to label our health and beauty products.
Besides, it doesn't have a name yet and this name would also be a small step for Heather to maintain and monitor its progress.
"Well, my other self Audemars, you really do have a good naming sense after all. Don't mind me if I were to use the same Beauty World franchise name over in this real-world since it is so catchy and everyone would be able to remember it."
"I wonder what kind of food products any of my other self would be able to introduce to me since I have not been able to see much except for the health and beauty products."
I thought to myself and waited for Ceres to reply to me since I had thought it within myself. The sentences may be directed to Ceres and to me as well and I was anticipating some things as Ceres dig up the necessary set of information for me.
If I was the one who maintains everything back in my previous self, I guess this time I would best delegate the tasks to someone who would be best at handling them.
"Audemars, if you are thinking about foods, I do have a lot of recipes that Heather and you would be interested in."
"However since we are in this era, there's no possibility of you to create something like a tv dinner where you can actually pop the food inside the microwave oven and then eat at your convenience."
"Tv dinners? What's that? Besides these terms that you had mentioned sure sounded alien to me." I asked Ceres since I am a bit befuddled with the terms and I wonder if it is sustainable for our economic growth.
"Forget what I had said, Audemars. The future is still far fetched even though you had implemented the standing icebox, conventional Ovens and the food warmers."
"Maybe we can discuss it when the time comes where certain materials would be readily available for safe food handling of those recipes."
Since Ceres had mentioned it that way, I just honk we should shelf the idea for the time being since it there are Insufficient materials then there is no point for us to ponder on it much longer. It would infuriate and stresses the rest of us anyways.
Besides, I had decided to use the naming of our beauty and health products as Beauty World and that would be more than enough at the end his moment.
As for the rest, we shall wait for the time to come.
