Chapter Twenty-Two Linc pulled the last sticky note from the bathroom mirror. The adhesive gave without protest. It made a crackling sound as he crinkled it up in the palm of his hand. With a flick of his wrist, the wadded missive landed in the wastebasket with the others. With the note gone, Linc got a clear view of his face. He was cleanly shaven. His hair trimmed. Stepping back to get more of a view, he could admit that he looked handsome in the suit he'd picked up from in town. The town's folk had eyed him skeptically as he and his men did their shopping the other day. The six strangers had only been in town a week, and yet here they were shopping for wedding clothes.
