Chapter 10

Addison's POV

The moment I saw him I got scared because he might scold me for not being there on his own time.

"S-sir?" I stuttered saying it.

"What's wrong with you? I am just here to meet the kids," he said.

"I am glad that you are here!" It was David.

And the kids shouted after seeing Sylvester. I think they're already close based on what they are doing right now with him.

"How are you? I am glad that David brought you here, is there anything you want other than this?" he asked the kids.

"I want toys, and I want some pizza later!" Shonnel said.

"Okay kid! How about you Cairene?"

Seeing them makes my heart melt. I never thought that Sylvester had this side. I really thought that he is really cold and never thinks about what is happening around him but I was wrong all along.

"I think this is your first time seeing Sylvester with that kind of attitude, right?" David asked me.

"Actually yes, I am amazed with him right now. And I hope he will be like that forever, I doubt." Actually, I don't trust this man as of now.

"Well, it is fine for me if that's what you think about Sylvester, but honestly speaking, he is really a good man," he explained.

I just nodded at him and we continued walking towards the kids zone. The kids are excited they already went to their chosen station of what they are going to play.

Meanwhile, I am just watching them playing and I am assessing Shonnel on his game which is the claw machine. I just look at him, focusing on the Doraemon stuff.

"That's it! That's it!" I shouted as Shonnel got the stuff toys. "Yey!" Both of us shouted because Shonnel got the stuffed toys.

We don't think anymore about other people here but we are happy with our play right now.

"Miss Addie, you should try this here." He handed me the tokens and I immediately accepted it.

I placed the tokens on the peso whole and then I started moving the claw. I am now targeting to get the sailor moon stuff toy. I slowly moved down the claw and there you go I got the toy. I slowly moved it to the hole, but the moment it was almost there it fell.

"Try again Miss!" Shonnel cheered me up so I did.

However, for the second time I still didn't get it. "Hayts! Maybe some other time Shon," I lamented.

But the moment I faced Shon, I got bumped into the chest of Sylvester.

"Arg!"

I just closed my eyes, and waited for me to reach the floor. But minutes had already passed, I didn't feel any pain. The moment, I opened my eyes, the eyes of Sylvester are the first thing I have seen. Those hazel brown eyes, makes me shiver but in a good way.

"You're so clumsy!" he mumbled.

"I am very sorry S-sir, I didn't meant to bumped into you, and I never thought, that you are at my back watching me," I apologized.

I fixed myself after he released me.

"Moved…" he uttered.

For the second time, I almost fell on the floor the moment he passed by. I just looked at him and he started playing the claw machine.

"Go...go...Mr. Sylvester!" Shonnel shouted.

When I saw the claw fell on Sailor Moon, I slowly moved my body towards the machine.

"Come on…" I mumbled as he get the stuff toy.

As I looked at him, I saw the determination in his eyes that he really wants to get it. I am so happy, that he considered my happiness right now.

Well, I don't think that this man really needs to work 24 hours for being the CEO of his own company. I believe that he believes on the capabilities of his constituents to manage his company.

"Yey!" I shouted the moment he got the stuff toy.

He get it and gave it to me directly. "T-thank you for this S-sir this is actually my favorite anime character," I said.

He just looked at me with his poker face. Despite of his reaction right now, I am still happy because of what he did for me.

"Let's play another game Miss Addie!" Shonnel grab towards the other machine.

But this time, I just accompanied Shonnel on the different machine he's going to play with. Meanwhile, Sylvester is just watching us from afar. Well, everyone is ashamed because of him, knowing he's the owner of this mall and he is also intimidating on his looks right now.

Even I am just watching Shonnel playing right now I am still feeling the enjoyment because it is also entertaining watching him playing.

But the moment, I faced to the right, I saw a karaoke, I never hesitated to walk towards there, I really love singing. I forgot to tell you, that I can sing and I am a choir on our church.

However, the moment I reached the said area, I saw a guitar. Suddenly, realized that I should play instead the song I have written for my unknown lover.

The staff help me prepare the things that I need before I sing. The moment my eyes went to the direction of Sylvester I saw him seriously looking at me.

I was intimidated the way he looked at me. I never thought that he is really looking at me right now cause what I thought he's looking at somewhere else.

"Good afternoon everyone! To those who are listening to me right now, I just wanna say, thank you and I hope you'll enjoy the song I have written. Yes you heard it right this is my original composition," I explained to them.

I started strumming the guitar and I started humming.

Lying here in the dark,

I don't know what to do.

The only thing I can think about,

I sing the first stanza with full emotion. Actually the story of this song I have written is that, I was broken before but I never been in a relationship yet. It just that I have a crush on that person how ever, he got a girlfriend.

I am devastated that moment before, I don't why I am really affected even though I didn't do anything to be with him and do such things in order for that guy to notice me.

I never knew people could have this feeling.

When i first saw you,

It was like I was someone new.

It all started on the first day of school, I am in a hurry because the flag ceremony has already started. I think I am the only student that time running in the hallway and then suddenly, we bumped into each other and all the books I have brought fell.

You know, the typical scene, during first day of school. However, on my part it turns out to be otherwise. The one I bumped into, didn't even get the chance to know each other. Or even started our love story—silly.

After I uttered those words, my eyes suddenly shifted towards the direction of Sylvester. Every time I am looking at him, it is the eyes that makes me look at him more—those hazel brown eyes makes me shiver and drowning in my own sea of thoughts.

While uttering those words I still didn't take my eyes off from him the same also with him. He's unpredictable, I can't even read those eyes! I think, this man really got my attention since day one. I only knew and no one will never know unless, they found it from their own and I will tell them the truth—just that simple.

If ever someone would show me that he really loves me despite of my gender and flaws. I will never hesitate to show to the world and shout everything I felt for that man, that I reall love him no matter what happen.

I realized I have something to live for.

However, it seems that it is impossible for someone to fall on me. In this world full of uncertainties, I always convince myself not to full in love easily with someone else.

After I sing it, everyone, clapped their hands. I never thought that a lot of here is already watching me. I saw, Sylvester still look at me.

Because I am intimidated the way he looked at me, I went directly outside and look for the restroom.
