Chapter 13

Addison's POV  "S-sir?"  The moment I saw him naked my body automatically turned back at him. Gosh, it is too early in the morning and I don't want to be a sinner either.  "Why are you not facing me, huh?" he asked.  "C-can you wear a t-shirt first S-sir before I face you? Y-you know you are naked," I answered awkwardly.  "What's wrong? We're both male?" he interjected. "As if you don't like seeing my abs," he even blurted.  "In your dreams!" I rolled my eyes because of dismay. It is too early in the morning and he is making my mood bad.  "You can now face me, I am already wearing a t-shirt." I slowly turned my back and I closed my eyes just in case he's just tripping on me.  "Can you open your eyes! I am already wearing a t-shirt!"  Without a doubt, I automatically opened my eyes and yeah, he is already wearing one.  "Here's your breakfast for today Sir, I made it for you as my peace offering for what happened last night between us," I explained.  "Get in…" I followed him inside and this was my first time seeing his room. It is very manly and the theme suits him. "Put it there, and do not leave the room yet," he added.  "O-okay Sir? Is there anything you want me to do?"  "No, just sit down here, and I'll eat." He got up from his bed and went to the table where I put the food.  This man is really weird like, imagine, he's cold earlier and now otherwise! I think it is time to ask grandma how to handle this man.  "Really S-sir? You can call me on your telephone once you're done eating already," I said. "It is kinda weird being inside your room, it feels like my soul is being eaten by someone here," I added. "Are you okay? What are you thinking, there's a monster inside here?"  I sat on the side of his bed and looked at him, who's also looking at me right now.  "Maybe? Because you're a demon right?" The moment I told him that, he looked at me angrily. Those eyes, are about to eat me.  "Are you trying to pissed me off?" he said. "If yes that will not happen duckling!"  That word again, he's not inverting the situation but he cannot annoyed me for that.  "No of course! That's actually what I felt right now," I condemned.  "Stop pouting your lips, it doesn't suit you!"  "What S-sir? Can you just focus on what are you eating right now. Don't mind me okay?" I said.  He just ignored me and he countinued eating. Since his eating, I tried to explore his room. The moment I went through his walk-in closet, I saw the painting again that I saw from his office yesterday.  The moment I went through it, I saw a basket and as I looked into it I saw his underwear… "What the fuc*! That man!"  I blunted since there's a semen on his underwear. Gosh, anyway, it is natural and I couldn't blame him why he did it—laugh my ass out. I mean, it's really normal but I was shocked to see it.  "What are you doing here?" It was him who's already done eating. He looked down and he saw what I saw and laughed demonically.  I left him and I went directly towards the table to clean up his mess. I know he is following me, but I just don't think of him cause it's kinda awkward right now.  After I cleaned it up, I looked at him. "Is there anything you want me to do or bring it here?" I asked him. "If nothing, then I'll go ahead."  "Nothing, you can go and help them downstairs. I'll just call if I need you, okay?" I nodded and I bid goodbye.  When I reached the kitchen, I didn't see my grandma. I asked my colleagues where she was and they told me that she was in the garden. The moment I stepped out from the mansion, I was fascinated with the garden. It is wide and open, sloping gently down to a cosmic-blue river. A copse (grove) of cypress pines flanks us on one side, with a thicket (grove) of peaceful beeches standing guard on the other. Apple trees run through the centre of the garden, casting a lake of claw shadows onto the grass. In autumn, the fiery brilliance of their leaves is a sight: scorching-oranges, burning-browns and molten-reds. Then they drift to the ground as silently and carelessly as an ash cloud, settling into their eternal rest. I don't know why I tend to have flowery words because of this garden. Yet, I haven't seen grandma. I continued walking. Past the river there is a plush-green meadow which stretches away into vastness and a dragon-backed mountain. In winter, the stricken (overwhelming) loneliness of its peak sends shivers down my spine, wondering how anything could survive up there.  The fog that coils around it seems as old and fey (unearthly) and grey as the mountain itself, an alien presence that can dampen any mood. I call it Cimmerian Mountain, the ancient name for the land of perpetual mist. When spring finally comes, arcipluvian (multi coloured) rainbows drench the mountain with coloured fire and the light leaks into the garden. In addition, it is the ideal destination to escape from the hectic and bustle of the city because you always have a chance to listen to the interesting sounds of nature. All kinds of birds and insects compose a piece of a song that uplifts your spirit and brings positive energy as well as inspiration.  Walking in the aisle of rows of flowers, wind can help you feel the fresh and attractive scent of flowers. There is a desk and a chair at the back of the garden where you are able to sip tea and indulge in every page of a book. All in all, this garden is heaven for a nature lover like me. When I reached the well in the middle of the garden, I saw grandma sitting in the chair that was beside the well.  "Oh, hello Dear, how are you? What took you so long?" she asked me. "Please sit beside me." I sat beside her and was still looking at the beautiful garden right now.  "I never thought that this mansion has this beautiful garden, it is really beautiful and relaxing," I started the conversation. "Is this build reasonably? Or is it built because the family wants it?" I asked her.  Grandma stood up and walked towards the well. "Plants are absolutely essential to life. None of our basic functions from breathing to eating to drinking would be possible without plants. Plants not only act as food sources but also release oxygen and help maintain the water table. The simple fact of the matter is that without plants we would not survive." she explained.  "But, aside from that reason, this garden is being made because of Melissa's anxiety disorder. The parents of Sylvester. This is her resting place every time she feels alone and his anxiety is controlling her," she explained. "Come here, this well is very magical. I don't know why, every time I throw a peso coin here, and make wishes, everything comes true."  I stood up and went beside her. "Can I wish here also, grandma?" She nodded so I got the coin I had in my pocket.  I closed my eyes and I made a wish. I am hoping that this year will be the best year for me—manifesting!  "It feels so magical after I wish," I said after I made a wish.  "Indeed. By the way, what's the reason why you are looking for me?" "Actually, I am just going to ask what are the things I need to do in order to cope up or go along with Sylvester? Like how can I handle him properly?"   Grandma took a breath and looked at me. "I have learned the only way to deal with other people is to change what’s within yourself first. A true saying, “You can try but you can’t change others”. The one way to approach the issue is to change how you act and view other people. By doing this, everything else will fall in place," she explained.  "With our attitude or what makes us become so aggressive with a person, depends on what they have done, the way the person approached you, how they even looked at you, or their voice. All these things can drive the other party to reaction," she blurted.  "Be clear with the next person on how much you can take. Informed them of your space you need, or you could easily get pushed over by others." She looke at me and then said, "I know you can handle him, I can see it based on your eagerness."  "Anyway, observing could be a way to view if the person acts or do certain things around other people. Finding this out, you could engage the individual in a third party conversation, take the silence seat, and observe the conversation. By doing this, you would get an idea on how the other person handle the conversation of the person," she added.  "I learned a lot from you, Grandma! Thank you so much! What you have said is already noted and I'll take those in order for me to deal with Sylvester," I said after listening to her.  The moment I thanked her, my phone ring. It was Sylvester who's calling.  "Where you at right now?" he asked directly.  "In the garden, with grandma why?" I asked him.  "Grandma who?" "It's grandma Remedios," I answered. "What do you want Sir?" "Okay? Just go to your room, I already sent the clothes that you are going to wear today, as soon as possible I don't want to be late okay?"  He didn't even waited for my response he just dropped the call right away.  "Grandma, I have to go, Sylvester wants me to check the clothes that I need to wear today? I don't know if where are we going today, but anyway, thank you so much with all your wisdom!"  After I heard his answers, I went directly to my room and the moment I opened the door. There's a lot of people inside including Sylvester.  "Hmm, h-hello?" I greeted awkwardly "You are Addison right? What a beautiful one! Anyway we are the personal staff of this family when it comes to gathering. We are the one who do the make up and anything before attending a particular gathering," the guy explained to me. "Anyway I am, Lori and this is Jassy," he added.  "Good morning, I am Addison, but what is the reason why you are here inside my room?" I asked them.  "Well, try to asked Sir…" he pointed out Sylvester at my back so I turned my face and looked at him.  "What are you doing here S-sir?" I curiously asked him. "I mean can you enlightened me?"  "You are going to attend a gathering and you will be pretending to be my girlfriend."
