Addison's POV
It is Wednesday and it is also a beautiful day. I woke up with a smile on my face and I started it with a good routine.
Maybe, we got a good connection yesterday. Yes, there's no problem with Sylvester yesterday. He just ordered me to clean the dog house and after I cleaned it, he didn't order anything for me to do. What I did yesterday is rest and I am so thankful that I am given such time for me to rest.
It's already been a week since I came here. And I slowly learned how to handle the personality of that Man. I followed everything that grandma told me and it is really helping. Then, I am looking forward to getting to know him better, not the personality and attitude he always shows to other people—especially to those he didn't know yet.
"Good morning Grandma, can I help you with that?" She is cooking right now.
I helped her and we prepared Cooked oatmeal topped with almonds or dried cranberries. A whole-wheat pita stuffed with hard-boiled egg and a vegetable such as spinach.French toast made with whole-wheat bread, egg whites or an egg substitute, cinnamon and vanilla. That's what we prepared for his breakfast.
"Good morning everyone!" I was shocked the moment he entered the dining area.
"Jesus! Why are you like that? You even scared me!" I told him.
I got really scared 'cause I am serious on preparing his breakfast.
"I think you take too much caffeine, that's why you easily get shocked whenever there is someone, calmly talking," he replied.
"Whatever! I really love drinking coffee and you can't do anything about it," I asserted while pouring water on his glass. "You can now enjoy your breakfast S-sir?" I said sarcastically.
"Tsk, duckling!"
"Whatever!" I left him in the dining room because I don't want to change my mood.
"Oh, what's wrong with you?" Grandma asked. "I bet, Sylvester is already there, right?" she added.
"Y-yes Grandma and he is trying to destroy my mood.
"Oh what I told you before?" she conveyed.
I just laughed awkwardly at her because I didn't know what to answer.
"Anyway, are you going to the garden Grandma? If you will, just inform me, I'll go with you." I sat down and ate the hotdog in front of me.
"I am actually about to go there, wanna go?" I nodded and I drank my water first then we went to the garden.
Here I am again on this beautiful and relaxing garden. The moment I stepped here, everything feels right. No problem, no worries, just chilling with these flowers and plants that surrounds me.
"Until now, I am still amazed, with this garden," I uttered out of the blue.
I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes for a while. I am also facing the sun right now. Of course, the heat is still manageable. It took minutes before I opened my eyes.
"S-sir?"
I almost fell, because I was shocked the moment I opened my eyes. Imagine, he's the first one you will see the moment you open your eyes.
"You really take so much caffeine!" He turned his back from me and started walking. "Follow me," he said.
Without a doubt, I followed him. I bid goodbye to grandma, since I don't know where we are going. I just followed him and the way is getting thinner and it makes me creep, though you can still see the beauty of this garden.
After fifteen minutes of walking, we stop in front of a big tree. It was covered up with long grasses that came from above and fell down—it looks like a curtain.
"W-what are we going to do here Sir?" I asked him while looking around.
He didn't reply but he started walking again. I just followed him again, and he went through the grass curtain and so I quickly followed him.
"W-wow?"
It was the first word I uttered the moment I saw the other side of this garden. There's free space and there's a waterfall. That's why, I can hear the sounds of running water so this is it. I was really speechless right now.
The waterfall loomed overhead, and enormous sink set to full blast. Spurts of ocean plummeted from the mouth of its cataract in a violent fashion. As a whole, the general appearance was reminiscent of a crater sliced cleanly in half, surrounded by a border of pine trees. The peak contained a skyscraper-like presence, primarily due to its visibility (or lack thereof).
While the mountain contained a gradual incline, the falls were extremely steep, the highlight being the rollercoaster-like drop. While the base of the falls contained vociferous and harsh rapids, the water petered out into a calm sphere of motionlessness. Even as the rapids raged overhead, the bath remained still, as if I was looking at a picture frame. White foam glossed the edges of the pool, perfecting the celestial portrait.
"You're the only one who knows this place? Isn't it?" I asked him.
"Nope, it was Mom and Grandma, we used to go here before." He was seated on the grass and so was I.
"You really love nature right?" I just nodded at her while looking at the waterfall.
"I, like many others in the past, fell victim to the dazzling architecture and rich history the city held. Attributes that may still exist to this day, but are qualities that can be seldomly taken advantage of," I said out of the blue.
"Wealth is a requirement to live in a location that is not infected by crime and pollution. History, while a nice perk, is wasted on the old and the ignorant. History doesn’t help me pay for my bills or make my apartment bigger, in truth, it does the opposite," I even added.
He stood up and looked at me.
"I’m sure others would disagree, and I don’t mean to project my inner thoughts onto every red-blooded American that walks those black and gloomy streets everyday. I personally hate the city, because it rips the comfort and opportunity for solitude out of my life, and replaces it with toxic people and heaping piles of stress. I seem to be an outlier on that front though, so take my opinion with a giant grain of salt," I explained.
He was still listening to me. I already know that he was listening because he is not saying any words against mine.
"Can you tell me the reason why you love nature? Aside from the fact that we're dependent to it?" This time he already asked me.
"Nature is the most divine creation of God around us, it is considered an integral part of mankind. Nature has bestowed us with water, air, plants and much more to make us survive on this planet. But are we paying back to our mother nature? The answer is no as we have not only failed in paying back but also exploited nature to a great extent." The first thing I explained to him.
"Nature provides beauty all around, it's nature that makes the surroundings attractive and worthy to live in. Human life is possible because of nature and its various boons. Mother nature is a gift of God and must be respected just like we respect and love our mothers," I added.
"Great reason, so far okay?" he just said.
At least he appreciated me once this time. Because this man rarely does that and yeah, I am lucky today that he complimented me.
"How about you? How important is nature to you?" This time, I am the one who asked him.
He looked at me seriously and it made me shiver but in a good way.
"Nature is the most beautiful and attractive surrounding around us which makes us happy and provides us with a natural environment to live healthy. Our nature provides us with a variety of beautiful flowers, attractive birds, animals, green plants, blue sky, land, running rivers, sea, forests, air, mountains, valleys, hills and many more things. Our God has created a beautiful nature for the healthy living of us. All the things we use for our living are the assets of nature which we should not spoil and damage. We should not destroy the originality of nature and should not imbalance the ecosystem cycle. Our nature provides us a beautiful environment to live and enjoy so it is our responsibility to keep it clean and away from all the damages. In the modern era, many selfish and bad activities of human beings have disturbed the nature to a great extent. But we all should try to maintain our nature’s beauty."

In the modern era, many selfish and bad activities of human beings have disturbed the nature to a great extent. But we all should try to maintain our nature’s beauty. That's actually what we need to do, because I believe that, what we do to nature, nature will do to us," he conveyed.
"Hey, both of you! I brought some food here." The moment I heard Grandma, I immediately ran towards her to help her carry the things he brought here.
"Let me bring that." Sylvester got the basket from me, and brought it himself.
He didn't wait for us and we just let him walk alone and we are just at his back—no need for him to worry about.
"I-I think, there's a character development that is already happening right now with that man," grandma said.
"I am also hoping that he really is, so that it won't no longer be a burden handling him," I mumbled. "B-by the way Grandma, he told me that you know about this place, how come that this place is still this abundant and beautiful?" I asked.
"Well, this is actually protected by his parents." She pointed out Sylvester. "No one is allowed to go here except me and his mother," she added.
I saw him preparing the wide clothes that we're going to sit on and I quickly went to him. I helped him prepare it.
After we prepared the clothes, I arranged the food that grandma brought here. How come that there's already a lot of food here?
"Grandma, who cooked this food?"
"You can ask Sylvester," she answered.
I looked at him, "What?" he asked.
"Did you order this food S-sir?"
"Yes, I decided to have a picnic here because I am stressed these days, you know distress," he answered.
I never asked again, and we started eating. Then after that, I took some pictures of the surroundings.
