Chapter 16

Addison's POV

Today is the day that we're going to Baguio. I am excited because this is my second time there. The reason why I am excited is that grandma is also with us.

At the moment, I just finished taking a bath and I am combing my hair. This is a little bit longer already, and this is the reason why other people tend to call me 'Ma'am'.

I don't know, maybe because of being androgynous or because of being skinny like they don't see any muscles? Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore, if they call me, 'Ma'am or Sir' either of the two is fine for me.

"Hello Sir, good morning…" I greeted him because he is calling right now.

"I just want to ask if you are ready already? I'll tell Josephine, to pick up your things up there," he said.

Wow! This is something new, he is the first one who insisted on offering help for me. Such a beautiful day to start. I hope he will be like that the following day so that my day will always be good.

"Yes please S-sir, I already packed it last night, this is not actually big, just a medium one, since you told me not to bring a lot," I explained.

"Okay, I'll drop this call and the kids are already coming here." He dropped the call and continued what I was doing.

Actually, what I am going to wear today is a crop top shirt, paired with a denim jacket and also ripped jeans paired with three inches blue heels that suit my skin color.

But before I wear it, I put a little makeup on my face, just a light one just to emphasize my beauty. Of course, I am beautiful and we should be confident with ourselves because no one will do it for us.

After a couple of minutes, I was already done putting makeup on, so I quickly ran towards the walk-in closet to change my clothes. Luckily, I am already done changing clothes when there is someone knocked on the door and I think it is Josephine.

The moment I opened the door and yeah, my instinct was right—it was Josephine.

"Good morning, Addie! I am here to get your things as Sir Sylvester told me," she said.

"By the way, you're gorgeous! You know what, I really thought that you were a woman, but the moment you told me that you were a man, I was really shocked. You know, I never saw any traits of a man in you, 'cause even your voice is like a woman's voice," she added.

"Anyway, can I have your things?"

"Yeah sure, thanks Josephine! Kindly tell Sylvester that I am almost done, thank you so much again." I handed him my bag and other stuff and bid goodbye to me.

The last thing I will do is to blow dry my hair— after ten minutes of blowing my hair it is finally dried. I am about to leave my room when I remember that I haven't put my necklace yet so I immediately run towards my cabinet and grab it.

I make my actions quick, because Sylvester is already calling me. It is just that, I never answered him.

The moment they saw me, all their eyes were on me, and their conversation was interrupted. Because of that, I got confused about my looks. I bow down my head and never look at them.

"I am very sorry S-sir, for taking so much time preparing today and for being late," I apologized without looking him in the eye.

"It's okay, why are you wearing it like that?" He is referring to the croptop that I am wearing right now.

"Is it bad S-sir? Maybe I can change, but can you give me twenty more minutes just to change?" I said.

"No, what I mean is your stomach might get hurt," he explained.

"You are beautiful by the way." David slowly walked towards me.

"T-thank you so much, how are you?" Where are the kids by the way?" I asked because the kids aren't here.

"They're already in our private bus, they're waiting for you by the way," he replied.

"Anyway, since you are already here, let's go, grandma is already there too." Sylvester interrupted us.

Since he is the boss, we cannot do anything about it. We just followed him from behind.

"I think it will be exciting after the meeting because I am sure that we're going to visit different famous spots there and we're going to enjoy our whole stay there!" he babbled.

"Me too, actually my sleep last night was not good because of the excitement I felt," I replied. "Also, this my second time to be there again, of course I am also with the kids. You know what, I am actually wishing to have a brother and sister," I added.

Yes, I am the only son/daughter and I am longing to have one. The reason for that is, my mother cannot bear a child anymore since she has a problem with her ovaries— I am actually a miracle baby.

"Miss Addison! We miss you!" It was Shonnel and Cairene who shouted after they saw me.

I ran and afterwards I hugged them both. "I miss you both! How are you guys?" I asked them.

"We're fine, and we're doing great in our school too!" Shonnel uttered.

"That's great! You may now take your seat because we're about to leave okay? You guys might fall." They both nodded and they seated.

Meanwhile, I sat next to the chair of Sylvester. Yes, he actually told me to sit beside him, and so I did.

"Grandma, are you okay in there?" I asked her since she is just sitting in front of us.

"Yes, Addison, Grandma is fine here." After I asked grandma I never talk again.

By the way, regarding this bus, of course this is very accommodating and comfortable to ride with.

"Are you okay with traveling? You didn't puke? I mean you know the zigzag thing?" he asked me, the moment that the bus was already moving.

"Ah, yeah, you don't have to worry about me, S-sir I am totally fine," I replied.

After that, he just nodded at me. "Hmm, S-sir? Can I request something?"

"What is it?" he asked.

"Can we swap our seats? I want to be near the window, cause I really love watching outside when travelling," I explained.

"Yeah sure…" He stood up from his seat and so did I.

We exchanged our seats and I am now happy seeing the view outside.

"T-thank you so much S-sir…"

After that, our conversation never started again. I am so happy that we are traveling right now, because travelling is an amazing way to learn a lot of things in life. A lot of people around the world travel every year to many places.

Moreover, it is important to travel to humans. Some travel to learn more while some travel to take a break from their life. No matter the reason, travelling opens a big door for us to explore the world beyond our imagination and indulge in many things. Therefore, through this Essay on Travel, we will go through everything that makes travelling great.

There are also reasons why we traveled. Some people travel for fun while some do it for education purposes. Similarly, others have business reasons to travel. In order to travel, one must first get an idea of their financial situation and then proceed right? I hope it is also one of the things you always consider when traveling?

"Here use this travel pillow, it seems that you are sleepy? What time did you wake up earlier?" He handed me his travel pillow and I accepted it without hesitation because I am really sleepy right now.

"It's….4am?" I awkwardly answered. He just nodded again and he let me sleep for a while.

Going back, understanding your own reality helps people make good travel decisions. If people gave enough opportunities to travel, they set out on the journey. Travelling plays an important part in making us feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

It also brings positive changes in our life and keeps us alive and active. Travelling gives us practical experience of things we have studied in books and surfed on the internet. So a person who does not travel at all does not find any meaning in the name of India Gate or Ganga River. However, if he has travelled to these places, he can truly relate everything he has studied and will always remember each and every detail of that place.

Nowadays, many people like travelling as they want to explore the world and watch everything they have read about. And this seems to be quite justified as practical knowledge is way more essential and effective than the theoretical one. People like to visit historical places present in different parts of the world and gather information on the same to write books and stories.

After twenty minutes my eyes are gradually closing on their own, and I don't know what happened next because darkness has already eaten me.

Then, I just woke up because someone is tapping on my face. I slowly open my eyes and again, those hazel brown eyes are the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes. Later on, I realized that I am leaning on the shoulder of Sylvester.

"Oh I am very, S-sir…" I apologized.

"You look like you see a ghost? What's wrong with you?" he mumbled. "I wake you up, because we're going to eat, it's already 12 in the afternoon." I looked outside and yeah, I realized that we're no longer moving.

"Where are they?" I asked him, since we only left here inside the bus.

"They're already outside, I tell them that we're going to follow so, fix yourself okay?"

I didn't answer him, instead I fixed myself. "Let's go Sir?"

He didn't answer me but he directly stood up from his seat and so I did. I just followed him. I got confused with myself again, 'cause there's a lot of people looking at us right now.

I almost forgot that I am with a famous businessman in Asia, that is why they're looking in our direction. I am just looking down because I am really shy right now. I don't know, instead of being proud because I am working with a famous businessman in Asia, I just realized that I shouldn't because the girls out there are about to eat me alive.

"What's wrong with you?" I bumped into him because he stopped walking and I didn't recognize it.

"Ouch!" I said. "I am very sorry, I am just shy and confused right now because they're looking at us," I explained.

"Is that your problem?" I nodded but the next thing happened, he grabbed my waist and he pulled me closer to him.

"S-sir…?"
