Chapter 18: Hope

Although Norman had not opened his eyes, it is kind of difficult to even think about these things, but then, what can she even do about it? nothing, absolutely nothing at all. Rose didn't quite understand what I was saying and in case she believed me as well, she had to clean that idea from my mind because almost immediately that such a thing had happened, the stress was too much, more than what she can even think about it.

The expression on Rose's face was thick, it was filled with the fact that she actually believed what was being said and as if that is not enough, her mind just knocked out of balance, especially, as she did not quite believe in these things.

"Oh my God! how is this possible? I truly like what I see, truth be told, Now Alice, if you do not mind, will you rush and call Dr. Harris, he needs to see this, it is a miracle," Rose spat out.

Indeed, it is a miracle, and as if that is not enough, a fresh wave of tears flushed down my cheeks, I was happy that God had given Norman a second chance, so I thought, the joy that felt my soul is like one that I have never experienced in my entire life, just staring at the man, I felt a kind of longing that had never being there in my entire life, more like a feeling that I have never experienced in my entire life.

"These are one of the occurrences that barely ever happen, I mean it. Never in my life have I ever seen a man die and come back to life again," Rose said kn amazement.

Indeed, the young lady meant the words that left her throat more than anything in the world. The sincerity in the lady's eyes shocked me as well, I had definitely not seen that coming at all.

It was just a moment before the Doctor came rushing into the ward, and at once, he looked at the scan machine, checking to verify the waves himself. Indeed, I was right when I said he is alive, and thus I gave space for him to check Norman, at least, he is the priority right now, and the pain from it was just one in a million something no one can even get at all.

The doctor did a rapid check up on the man's body, that was fast, and whatever the case is, he merits it too, especially with the look he had on, it is a clear prove that things are now working towards the positive side, and for sure, it is.

After inspection, Dr. Harris swirled his head to me as he started with his speech, the way he loves it to be.

"I think Norman had frightened us all for a moment, I am glad that he has chose living over dying because besides missing his presence, that would be a great loss to us, and we all know about it, more than anything In life," Harris blurted out.

In deed, that was the truth, and he said it in theost honest way possible, which made the lady to stare at him like there is everything good to talk about right now.

Even if that is the case, I do not quite see it this way like anything, in fact, my eyes were even pierced on Norman, staring at his pale face.

"Alright, Daisy, if you do not mind, I will just love to make things work out well with Norman, I mean, he needs rest, can you give him some space please? thank you," he muttered out.
