AVA'S POV The first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was the warmth. A strong arm was draped possessively around my waist, holding me close as though letting me go simply wasn't an option. For a long moment, I didn't move. The morning sunlight slipped through the curtains in soft golden ribbons, bathing the room in a peaceful glow.
