Crimson oozed from my chest

As I stared at you with tears in my eyes,

At last I saw your smile again,

But it wasn't how it used to before,

It was a whole lot different,

I closed my eyes and I smelled vanilla and rust,

The dreams I had right before my eyes

Became dust,

The love I gave you

Made you live,

And the love you gave

You were beautiful,

Full of life

You were my yellow,

But then you became gray,And joy turned to sorrow

You reminded me of lilies from the field,

Of the sun rising from the east,

Of dreams I was going to build
