PrologueOnce we arrived in Paris, I was relieved; I was finally going to see the end of this chase – or so I hoped. However, I had to jump through a few more hoops before anything would become clear. One morning as I was leaving the Hotel de Crillon after meeting with Khalid, I was tailed by none other than Ben Slimane – or so I thought. During a subsequent and heated meeting between James, Mark, Khalid and Slimane, the latter revealed his real name, Ishmael Assor – (he gave us a name that he probably pulled out of the Mossad hat). Once the dust settled and all involved have had a chance to report to Ottawa or make a statement to the authority concerned, James, Aziz and I returned to Vancouver and Khalid made his way back to France once again. Yet, there were still many unanswered questions. Why would an Arab Prince accept to provide arms to an enemy of Islam? Why would Slimane (or is it the Puppeteer?) go into hiding? Isn’t he a CIA agent? In reality, Slimane had two bosses; the CIA, and the other, who apparently orchestrated the arms shipments to Israel, the seat of the organization to which Slimane belonged – Mossad. When his dealings were uncovered and his identity revealed, the man whom Aziz, Mark and I met during our journey through the US, Isaac Whittlestein – the man I knew as Samuel Meshullam – didn’t wait for the chips to fall, he went to Slimane’s last known hideout in Flint, Michigan and organized his killing. The next stop in this killer’s route was Vancouver....
