The Puppeteer has realized that Talya is a threat, and he understands that there is only one way to deal with threats - and that is to eliminate them.

In They Called Me The Puppeteer 3, Talya and the CSIS have come close to discovering how certain documents, forged by the CIA, have been used to create cover for the identity of The Puppeteer. He knows how important it is to stop Talya getting any further in her investigation, and he is willing to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent that - even if those steps mean death for Talya. If one domino falls, so will all of the rest, and if they do fall, they will do so in a spectacular fashion. Discover the dark lengths to which The Puppeteer will go in this, the superbly exciting closing book of the hi-octane, adrenalin-packed The Puppeteer of Washington series.

Prologue
PrologueOnce we arrived in Paris, I was relieved; I was finally going to see the end of this chase – or so I hoped. However, I had to jump through a few more hoops before anything would become clear. One morning as I was leaving the Hotel de Crillon after meeting with Khalid, I was tailed by none other than Ben Slimane – or so I thought. During a subsequent and heated meeting between James, Mark, Khalid and Slimane, the latter revealed his real name, Ishmael Assor – (he gave us a name that he probably pulled out of the Mossad hat). Once the dust settled and all involved have had a chance to report to Ottawa or make a statement to the authority concerned, James, Aziz and I returned to Vancouver and Khalid made his way back to France once again. Yet, there were still many unanswered questions. Why would an Arab Prince accept to provide arms to an enemy of Islam? Why would Slimane (or is it the Puppeteer?) go into hiding? Isn’t he a CIA agent? In reality, Slimane had two bosses; the CIA, and the other, who apparently orchestrated the arms shipments to Israel, the seat of the organization to which Slimane belonged – Mossad. When his dealings were uncovered and his identity revealed, the man whom Aziz, Mark and I met during our journey through the US, Isaac Whittlestein – the man I knew as Samuel Meshullam – didn’t wait for the chips to fall, he went to Slimane’s last known hideout in Flint, Michigan and organized his killing. The next stop in this killer’s route was Vancouver....
