An Alpha's Rejection

Chapter 2

‘Tonight, might not be a bad idea Em, we might find Mate there if we don't find him before’ Alex Chirps up,

‘I just hope he will love and protect us Alex, if he’s even from this pack, that’s if he doesn’t reject us’.

‘Mate will love and protect us, he won’t reject us’.

‘If he’s heard that I’m wolf-less he might, who wants a wolf-less Mate’.

‘But you aren’t wolf less and if he can’t love you for just you then we’ll deal with it then’.

‘I don't know what I’d do without you Alex’ I can feel Alex smile.

‘And besides if we don't find mate tonight, you’ll get to see Zachary, either way it’s a win win’.

I start to blush at the thought of seeing Zach I’ve had the biggest crush on him for as long as I can remember, him and Levi have been best friends for as long as I can remember, although he is couple of years older than Levi, but we all used to play together, and like my brother he was also over protective of me, when Zach turned 15 the Alpha sent him to a boarding school for future Alphas to train to be the best they can be. 

Dad would send Levi out during summer vacation to Zach so they could bond as Levi is going to be his Beta.

I wonder how much he’s changed it's been 5 years, I blush again about thinking of his naked torso with his abs defined running my fingers over them, before long I’m bought out if my daydream when I realised, I had arrived at school.

Arriving at school I walk up to the doors and look across and as if on cue the mean girls of the school find me, I sigh to myself ‘great’.

“Well look what we have here ladies... (the three girls giggle) …. It’s the runt of the pack, what a waste of space” Celine the head of the mean girls says flipping her blonde hair over her left shoulder, her two sheep laughing still.

“Ha Ha Ha… (I sarcastically laugh).... well at least I’m not the pack wh*re Celine”, I answer back, I maybe weak but I’m not a doormat if I can help it.

“What did you just say bi*ch” she growled getting closer to me,

“I’m sorry Celine, I didn’t realise you had hearing difficulties as well, I called you a wh*re” raising my voice with the last part at her, she grabs me by my throat pinning me to the nearest wall, choking me as I gasp for air. I bring my hands up clawing at hers to let go.

‘Let me have her’ Alex shouts in my head, I block her out before she tries to fight to the gain control. I’ve done too well to contain and hide my wolf to let Celine ruin it for me now,

“Careful who you're talking too mutt” Celine gets close growling tightening her grip *bell rings* saved by the bell, Celine rolls her eyes and smiles sadistically at me.

“Saved by the bell mutt, next time you won’t be so lucky”, dropping me to the floor gasping for air as the three wanna be Barbies walk away giggling, I get up once I’ve caught my breath and recovered from what just happen, I rush to class which I’m already late for.

The rest of the morning was uneventful, the bell for lunch went and I start walking to the cafeteria when I hear screaming from the other end of the corridor , screaming that can only be described as like a banshee scream,

“YOOO BI*CH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY” Sienna and Vincent shout from the other side of the hallway, I instantly go wide eye and as red as a tomato. They catch up and give me a massive bear like group hug.

These two are my closest friends, they’re twins and are inseparable. They weren't originally from this pack, they moved here from another pack in Europe due to a disagreement their parents had with their then Alpha apparently, they don't go into detail with it, but they’re also classed as the outcasts because of this, so we stick together.

“Guys did you really have to do that, you scared the crap out of me” I whisper quietly.

“Babes it’s your birthday and old enough to finally find your mate” Sienna squeals, with her Italian accent,

“Yea she’s right, I’m gutted I’m not your Mate Sweetheart” Vincent winks at me, causing all of us to burst out laughing, Vincent is gay, but it isn’t public knowledge, however he is really attractive and does make the girl do a double take when he walks past, he looks like a Greek God.

Vincent wraps his arm over my shoulder, and we walk into the cafeteria, getting a few looks from a few she-wolves, we grab our food and sit at a deserted table.

“Hey where were you this morning Sweetheart?” Vincent asked,

“I was running late, when I got here Celine was waiting and we got into it before the bell went” I replied looking at my food,

“That Bi*ch” Sienna lowly growled looking around the room,

“Speak of the devil and she will appear” Sienna said through gritted teeth, I look up and the mean girls enter the cafeteria, everyone turns their heads to look, like they were the Goddesses of the school, as I’m watching I notice that they’re coming straight at us,

“So, mutt, I heard it’s your birthday today and you can now find your mate” Celine giggles before she continues,

“What a disappointment you are and will be to your Mate when he realises what you really are” she finished, all three of them giggling even louder, this earned a growl from Sienna as she stood up throwing her chair back, causing Celine to actually jump. It’s a good thing this is a high school for just Werewolves otherwise this would be hard to explain.

Celine is a great fighter and one of best she-wolf warriors our pack has, but Sienna is the best we have she’s fast and stronger than any of the warriors here, but she and Vincent come from a bloodline of very strong warriors so that has a lot to do with it.

“I suggest you keep walking before I hit you so hard, you’ll be brushing your teeth from your a*s” Sienna said with so much venom in her voice, Celine rolled her eyes, but backed off.

“Come on girls, let not waste any more time on this mutt” she replied with a smirk looking straight at me and walked off.

“Are you okay Em?” Sienna looked at me,

“Yea, I’m okay, thank you Si, you didn’t have to” I smiled at her.

“I did, you’re our best friend and even if you can’t beat her up, I sure as hell can and I will if she doesn’t back the f*ck up” she says still very clearly angry at what just happened. I smiled at her.

“Roll on home time, I could do with a nice warm bath, movie then bed” I tried to distract her temper.

“Are you not going to the Pack ball tonight?” Vincent queried, realisation kicked in I groaned out loud,

“I totally forgot…. Wwhhhhyyyyy!….. my Dad said I have to go, especially with Dad being Alpha Wyatt's Beta, and Levi being the next Beta, it would be disrespectful if I didn’t go” I moaned resting my head on the table.

“In which case would you like to be my date tonight?” he asked, I sat up straight and looked at him with a smile,

“I would love too, but what about Si?” I asked concerned.

“Bi*ch don’t worry about me, I’ve got a hot date tonight” she giggled winking at me.

“Poor Wolf” Vincent whispered, making me giggle and Si throw a chip at him,

“I heard that stupid”, she acted hurt.

We finished up our food, the bell went, and we headed off to our afternoon classes the rest of day was uneventful everyone avoided me, and I avoided them, and I preferred it like that.

At the end of the day, I got out of school a little early to avoid Celine and her sheep, but also to start getting ready for tonight's ball.
