What Love?!

Meanwhile in Berlin…

Time was passing faster than I thought. Hovig already had a plan, he said that I needed some men that I can trust, so Garen was the first. I tried to explain everything to Garen but he was afraid at first, then he understood me and stood beside me, as well as Fady, Yousef and Hovsep. The first point on the list was done. 

I was studying very hard, barely slept, no parties nothing. I was focused to my lessons and becoming a powerful business man. 

My friends helped me. The girls helped me too.

Hovig was always beside me supporting me, and Mia was one of my supporters too, after Hovig had told her everything to keep her with us safe. 

I guess Hovig had some emotions for her, and I really wish he has, Anna needed a father figure and Hovig was the best. 

Hovig collected other men in his own way too. 

When we all were in a meeting for the first time, I felt I was the leader of a gang. 

Males and females were working for me. 

I never thought Of this. I never imagined of becoming a leader one-day. 

As we planned, I was going to hide my identity from everyone, and behave as Sevag they all knew, but I was going to revenge them secretly. 

I was suddenly changed towards Vrej and his siblings, I knew the reason why, but couldn’t help but blame it on them too. I never spoke to him neither did he. 

Until I got a phone call from Vrej:-“brother… I guess you forgot me after you found new friends, yeah?”

Sevag;-“ hey bro, how are you?”

Vrej:-“ I am perfect, hope you too bro.”

Sevag:-“I’m doing fine.”

Vrej:-“I wished you were here with me, I need you somehow, I need someone to slap me from time to time.”

Sevag:-“hahaha bro, it seems you missed me, I missed you too.”

Vrej:-“aha aha, its obvious that you missed me.”

Sevag:-“bro I have much work to do, I have to study hard for your father's face not to be blackened. Are you even studying?”

Vrej:-“ umm, remember I told you about a gorgeous girl I met? Well, now she is with me, she started living with me in my apartment.”

I was shocked and really worried for that girl. I knew Vrej from childhood and I knew what kind of person he could be. I even knew that he may become a monster. Back in Lebanon, I was the one who pinned him down while his aggressiveness arose. But Roupen loved Vrej a lot and he was his supporter in anything, he even was his partner in crime, and that scared me and made me worry about the girl, poor girl.”

Sevag:-“ I see, congrats bro, take care of her and… you know… don’t hurt her, ok?”

Vrej:-“I like her man, or maybe…should I  say love her?”

Although I loved Vrej so much, I wanted revenge. 

He lived the life that I was suppose to live. It wasn’t his fault, he didn’t even know about that but I was seeking for revenge.

He hang up the phone and my anger rushed to my brain veins. My face was hot and red, and my phone rang once again. I didn’t notice who it was and with an anger I answered:-“ what?”

The soft voice cooled me down and I was surprised to hear that voice.

“Shouldn’t I have called?:-she asked worried.

Sevag:-“Meghety?”

Meghety:-“whats wrong with you? Is something wrong?”

Sevag:-“oh my God, is that you? How are you? No no its ok, I was just a little angry. Girl… I miss you.”

Meghety:-“I miss you too, you never called.”

Sevag:-“neither you!”

Meghety:-“ that’s because I am the female, but look at me, I couldn’t handle and I called.”

Sevag:-“ hahaha, I’ve been busy sweetheart.”

Meghety:-“ok.”

…

Sevag:-“hello? You still there?”

Meghety:-“yes.”

Sevag:-“why you’re not talking?”

Meghety:-“…”

Sevag:-“is something wrong Meghety?”

Meghety:-“…”

Sevag:-“you’re scaring me honey! Is something wrong?”

Meghety:-“yes.”

Sevag:-“what? What’s wrong? Tell me.”

Meghety:-“I’m in love.”

Sevag:-“what? With whom?”

Meghety:-“you.”

Sevag:-“…”

Meghety:-“why did you shut up? Are you shocked? Didn’t you already know that I am in love with you?”

Sevag:-“ Meghety, you know I love you so much but… as a sister, as my little sister honey.”

Meghety:-“ I don’t want your brotherly love, I already have 2 of them, I don’t need a 3rd one. I love you Sevag I really do.”

Sevag:-“ but  Meghety, this isn’t right.”

Meghety:-“who cares if it’s right or wrong, I love you, even if you don’t, even if you accept or ignore , I love you.”

Sevag:-“I can not accept this honey, you will meet someone and then realize that you never loved me, you will realize that I am mot different than Vrej or Zaven. I will always be there for you whenever you need me, but as a brother, not a lover.”

Meghety:-“I want you as a lover Sevag. If not, then never talk to me again.”

Sevag:-“I am sorry Meghety. I can’t…”

She cut me off by hanging off the phone. 

I was surprised to her boldness, but I was sad because I hurt her feelings.  I heard Hovig from behind me:-“and I was right once again, right? She loves you”

Sevag:-“yeah…but she broke my heart. I never wanted to be like this, she is like my sister.”

Hovig:-“don’t worry, she will heal fast, in the end, she is Liana’s daughter and Vrej’s twin sister, in the end she will show you her other face.”

Hovig:-“ are you keeping the password I gave you?”

Sevag:-“sure, why?”

Hovig:-“ok, we need that now. That is the password for your fathers bank locker in Germany. That’s why, I asked mr. Zadigian to send us to Germany. When I was in jail, I learnt German, as your father asked for, he said it’s for business, a private business. And before the accident happen, when he handed me the letter and the key, he told me about his account in Germany, gave me the passcode and asked to keep it safe for you, if anything happened to them. I have learnt German and started to visit Germany carrying his money and blocking it in here safely. Now it is time to use that money. I know mr. Zadigian is caring for everything but we need that money. We will leave mr. Zadigian pay for uni and everything you need here as he is doing. Not to make him sense anything, by using a lot of his money. And with the money you have, we will start to buy properties in Lebanon and pay for the men and of course, your mothers health. At first we will bring her here to Germany, and you will do that. Then we will take care of her treatment.”

Sevag:-“this sounds good, I like your plan.”

Hovig:-“son, your mother should have been standing on her feet and live a normal life years ago, but Liana was her block. She feared to lose mr. Zadigian. Garine also will come here to take care of her. We need your mom, we need her strenght.”

Sevag:-“so, lets go get the money, and prepare a room for my mother.”

Hovig:-“lets go.”
