KAEDYR  I stood stunned as I watched Na'imah saunter down the hallway like she owned my damn palace. I had come to expect the unexpected from her, but this was still beyond my expectations. Perhaps it was foolish of me to think I could escape her if I turned and walked away. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't have followed me and tried to rile me up, but at this point, can it even be said that she was in her right mind? Who was even to blame for that? I guess I was partially to blame. I wasn't that much of a prideful person to take credit for all the f**k-ups happening in her life, but I was self-aware enough to admit that I played a part. But why was she blaming me for whatever might've happened to her this evening? She said she'd lost everything and everyone, and it was my fault.
