Chapter Two

768 Words
Sierra's POV The cafeteria, that's the worst place any person could be in. First of all the food tastes foul and who could forget the types of groups in the cafeteria. But this town was different, the high school here was way different and it completely triggered my mind. There was a special table for the Leons, and the cafeteria was completely posh. Which I didn't get. I mean it's high school, shouldn't it be uh I mean less posh? I wanted to find out who the Leons were, it was bugging me ever since I heard Ellie and Destiny told me about them. I was currently with Ellie and Destiny around the middle of the cafeteria. This school had its cliche groups, from the jocks and cheerleaders to the nerds and geeks. I wasn't judging, I mean I know I'm judging by appearances but isn't that what everyone does in this twisted world? I guess Destiny and Ellie were known around the school because when we were walking to the Cafeteria people would wave at them and talk to them; the amount of times we had to stop sickened me. Grabbing my Nutella sandwich from my bag I started to munch on it. "What are you doing?" Ellie questioned me. "Eating." I told her. "Girl we wait for the staff to bring us food." Destiny told me. Staff, hold the hell up. "What? You guys have some staff who actually have the time to hand you food." I said shocked. "Isn't that what they do in every high school?" Ellie asked me. "No, we have to get our food on our own; we don't even have staff to give us food personally; the only contact we would have was with the lunch ladies who would glare at you." I explained. "Your old school must've been broke." Destiny laughed. "You're joking right?" Ellie said as she chuckled. "I'm dead serious." I told them, after they realised that I wasn't joking they looked at me as if I gave them a billion dollars. "Guys it isn't that serious." I said as I continued munching my Nutella sandwhich. They continued staring, but they weren't staring at me but something behind me. "The Leons." A girl whispered. Every girl in the cafeteria were staring at the Leons. I turned around to see what was so special about the Leons. There were five guys, they looked muscular and most importantly they were drop dead gorgeous. Especially the one with blue eyes. Shit I need to forget these thoughts, I stopped staring after I had eye contact with the guy with blue eyes. I kept a straight face and turned back around to eat the rest of my sandwhich. Then I saw the group of guys walking towards the reserved table. I rolled my eyes at the authority they got in this school. One of the guys who was apart of the Leons caught my action and raised one of his perfectly arched eyebrow up. I sighed as I ignored him and grabbed a bottle of water from my bag. After opening the lid of my water bottle I drank the delicious water. Some people may not find water delicious but I sure do. I mean people say all water taste the same but I think they taste different. After securing the cap on my water bottle I looked at my two new friends who were still staring at the Leons. What's so special about them? They're just a group of guys? "Guys, it's not that serious; they're just guys." I said as Ellie and Destiny gasped. "They're not just guys, they're walking Gods." Destiny ranted. "God sure did spend his time on them." Ellie sighed in delight. "What the hell guys? They're just guys." I repeated. "You're blind, I'll just pretend you are because girl you're not using your eyes right now." Destiny babbled. "I'm not blind, I'm just not like the type of girl who does those things anymore." I mumbled. "But they're so hot!" Ellie protested. "It doesn't matter if they're hot, It's about the type of person they are." I remarked. "Without good looks nobody would feel attracted to anyone." Destiny proclaimed. "Not necessarily, anyone could feel attracted to someone who's not very good looking, girl it's 2017; don't you ever wonder how Jay-Z got Beyoncé?" I don't understand how they're going to go through life if they only think about getting the most hottest guys. I just want someone who could love me for who I am. I was like them before. Not anymore. I've learnt my lesson.
