Chapter One
Sierra's POV I regret opening up to some people, they didn't deserve to know me like that. I don't feel like I'm terribly important to anyone anymore. I just kinda exist in people's lives. He destroyed me and I apologised. Here I was in a new school, I was too ashamed to remain in that school; I just had to leave. My thoughts were slowly murdering me. I walked over towards the reception where an old lady was sitting. "Hey can I have my schedule? I'm Sierra Fullman." The lady widened her eyes in surprise. "Oh, h-here take it, we haven't had a new student in forever." The lady smiled in delight. I nodded as I took my schedule, I skimmed through it to find out I had Art first period. I walked out of the reception and looked around for the classroom, it's so hard to look for once darn classroom In this huge school. Lost, there's legit nobody. I'm procrastinating, I can't just not show up to a lesson that's crazy. I could give two shits about school anyways. I sighed as I walked into the girls bathroom, I can find my way to the bathroom and not to my class. Funny. As I walked in I found two girls just talking as they re did their makeup, I sighed as I placed my bag down on the floor and washed my hands. The girls stared at me, and looked at each other. "Can I help you?" I asked them, I hate it when people do that; it makes me feel so bad. Come on Sierra get ready to inhale the bullshit. "Finally, someone decent joining this god damn school." A girl with brunette exclaimed. Decent? Is that an insult or... "Trust me, most of the girls here are so; gosh I can't explain it, it's like the girls from mean girls two." The girl with blonde hair sighed. They seem nice. "What do you mean most of the girls?" I asked the two girls. "They're real attention seekers, especially in front of the Leons." The brunette sighed. Leons? What the hell are they on about? "Leons?" I enquired, the people in this town are so freaky. "Yeah the Leons, you'll see who they are." The blonde girl told me. "Hey, what's your name?" The brunette girl asked. "Sierra." I responded. "I'm Ellie." The brunette smiled, "And I'm Destiny." The blonde girl mirrored the brunettes actions. "Could you both lead me to Art? I need help around in this weird school." I mumbled. "Weird? Hun our school is amazing." Destiny chuckled. "We'll help you, inform you about the type of s**t that goes around here." Ellie said as she grabbed her hand bag. "Thank god." I said as I walked out the bathroom before grabbing my bag. "Let me see your timetable." Destiny asked me. "Here." I said handing over my timetable. "Ah I see you have Art right now with Mr Doug, he's a good teacher but he's kind of a push over." Destiny informed me. "Push over? What do you mean?" I asked the chirpy girl. "He'll try at any extinct to make you draw stuff." Destiny explained. "Trust me he's the worst yet best teacher we have here in Silver." Ellie said. "So we going Art?" I asked the two girls. "Yup." Destiny said as she grabbed mine and Ellie's hand and ran. "Why-are-we-running?" I said taking deep breaths, I wasn't exactly the best at sports. "She always does this." Ellie said not out of breath at all. "Yeah and you better get used to it." Destiny said as she walked into my first lesson of the day; which was Art. I sighed as I walked behind her and Ellie. "Why are you girls late?" Mr Doug enquired. "Oh we were showing our new friend Sierra around school." Destiny lied. I looked around the class to find girls wearing loose clothes and tons of makeup, I actually never expected this school to be like those cliche high school movies; the girls here literally dressed like they were going to a strip club. "You can take your seats now." Mr Doug said as he continued with his lesson. Ellie and Destiny sat down at the front, I sighed as I walked to the back of the classroom. I took a seat next to a guy who looked really bored out of his mind, I had no choice; there were no more seats in the classroom. Sure he looked attractive but I'm not that type of person anymore; after what he had done I changed. I grabbed my pencil case from my bag and looked straight ahead. In the corner of my eye I could see the guy drawing something really enchanting; it was the moon in the shadow of the Earth, it described how I was feeling. It was how everyone treated me, always keeping me in the shade. I silently just listened to the teacher who was describing how artistic our minds get when we're feeling sad. I've always felt like s**t, sometimes it's better not to talk. At all. About anything. To anyone. I never should have spoken at all in my old high school. I regret everything.
