Chapter 27My parents weren"t traitors!" Arya blasted. She didn"t mean to, but the words were out of her mouth before she could think it through. Beau held her hand to calm her, but it was too late. The old man sparked a flame.
"You clearly didn"t know your parents," the old man said.
"She"s a negotiator and is here to help the pack." Veronica said through gritted teeth. "It would help the pack and you old man if you sat down." Veronica warned.
The old man glared at Veronica, though obeyed and settled back into his seat. As he settled into his seat a young wolf about Ace's age stood, challenging the Luna just by doing so.
"Luna, we have a right to be skeptical of this woman. Her parents were traitors after all and she vanished from the pack years ago." He said wearily.
