Chapter 29"Why didn"t you tell me who she was from the beginning?" Rick barked.
Veronica rolled her eyes. Why couldn"t he just drop the subject. Though, she played it nonchalant, she feared Rick would find out the truth.
They were upstairs in their white library waiting for Arya and Beau to arrive for their short meeting. Veronica knew she had to fix things before Arya arrived.
"We have more important things to talk about Rick," Veronica brought her glass of whiskey to her lips.
"Yes, like all the things you"ve been hiding. Is that girl—"
"Enough," Veronica said firmly.
