Chapter 1

Riya’s POV

‘ Trig, trig’ alarm is ringing.

“Uff”

I hate mornings, but still I have

to wake up. Recently I got a job at my best friend’s brother company.

Moonlight textile company.

It’s already 9 am. I’m late for the office. I quickly got out of bed went to the bathroom to brush.

My office is not far from my flat. So, I quickly picked up a dress, got ready and left for the office.

Within 15 minutes I reached the office. I joined last month as an intern.

I said hi to the receptionist Maya. She is also said hi to me. Then I went to my desk. I started doing my daily work.

My colleague Nabil came to talk to me. “why are you late today?” Nabil asked to me.

“Don’t ask bro, I don’t know how can a person wake up so early in morning. I’m not a morning person. It’s so hard to wake up so early” I replied.

He started laughing. “ Ooh! girl you are so lazy” he said mocking at me.

I rolled my eyes on him.

We talked for some more and went back to our works.

Its lunch time already. I’m in the cafeteria. Having my sandwich and milkshake. I’m thinking about my super hot CEO. I didn’t watch him today at office. I’m sure he is having fun with some of his b****. Thinking about him having fun with other girls make my heart bleeding. I have had a crush on him for 10 years.

When I was deep in my thoughts someone called my name from behind. I looked back and saw Nabil.

Ogh, he is going to irritate me now.

Sitting in my front seat he asked me what I was eating for my lunch. “ Nothing, just as usual. Sandwich and my favourite milkshake” I replied.

“ You just like to eat sandwiches and milkshakes everyday” he said with a laugh.

I ignored his nonsense and ask “ how come our big boss is not present today?”

“ I don’t know why he didn’t come today. I think he is busy with his new girlfriend” he said it with a small smirk on his face. “Yea, right his new girlfriend Sofia” I said crookedly.

“ what happened? Are you upset that he is with someone else?” I asked me with curiosity. But before I could answer the question someone from behind asked me in his deep voice., “Riya are upset for any boy?”

I know who is speaking. Rohit my hot ceo.

I look back at him. He was wearing a black sleeveless shirt. He looked very handsome. His eyes was staring at me with questions. I couldn’t understand what say for a moment. He started walking towards me. He stood right in front of me. I stared at him like a fool.

My heart started beating very loudly. I somehow managed myself and asked him if he needed any thing.

“ I heard him ask you about a boy, do you have any boyfriend?” he asked me with emotion in his eyes.

I replied quickly, “ no, I don’t have any. We are just randomly talking about some boys. Nothing more than that.”

“O sorry, I thought you have found you a boyfriend.”

“ Not yet boss. "

“ Agh, don’t call me that, call me Rohit. You are my lit sis best friend and we know each other more than 17 years so don’t call me boss ok.”

“Sure Rohit, I will remember it. ”

“ Ohh, I have to go see around. Bye. "

“Bye bo… Rohit. ”

With that he left the cafeteria.

I went back to my seat and finished my meal. After the meal I went back to work.

It’s 5 pm and I’m off duty now.

I came back home and went for a quick bath.

I have to meet Tara today otherwise she will kill me. We were supposed to meet last night but due to some work I couldn’t make it.

Tomorrow is Saturday so I can enjoy my Friday night with my best friend. At the end of bath I sat down to choose clothes to wear. I selected a black gown to wear.

I finished my makeup, got dressed and got ready for tonight.
