So i fell in love with my dad's best friend

The Thank You Notes

The present from my dad is a bag full of make up with a £200 gift card to go and get my nails done the next present is from someone I don't remember it says its from my mum but I haven't heard anything from her for a while she hasn't sent me a card or a text or anything in years. 

I open the present and see that she has got me a teddy bear and some cars "How old does she think I am six? what do I need with cars and a teddy bear and after all this time I hear nothing from her and then all of a sudden out of the blue she sends me this is she having a laugh?" 

My dad looks at me with a sorry look on his face and I know he wants to tell me that she loves me and that she never wanted to leave me yet she did and now she wants to be a mum again and why now when I turn 18 of all ages its her fault I was that dumpy little 15 year old she kept me like that until she left and said she didn't want me I bet she has a new life somewhere and I have brothers or sisters that I don't know about I don't mind being an only child I love it but I would have also liked to have a sister who I could talk to about anything. 

Any way she has left an address I better send her a thank you note but I don't want to my dad and Darren both encourage me to write it anyway and I get out my fancy thank you note pad and envelopes I quickly write a thank you because I want it to be over and done with she will probably write back and ask to meet but I don't know if I want to meet her I haven't needed her in my life and now she  is trying to be all maternal I have managed all these years without her. 

I honestly don't know if I want to have her in life again after all this time because she now feels like she owes me yeah she owes me a lot.
