Tiara's POV Birds chirp their songs and flap their wings over the trees in the woods. Aside from the chirping of the birds, the atmosphere around the Moonbark oak tree was solemn, a reminder that we were standing before a great tree that had borne the promises of many Wolves who came before it in the past. Until this moment, I was still oblivious to why Nicholas brought me before the mystical tree. Did he just bring me here to show me the trees and what it represents? Or does he want us to make a wish? Whatever Nicholas’ intentions were for bringing me here caused my heart to flutter still. Silence stretched between us. No one was saying a word.
