Tiara's POV
Nicholas and I retired to the pack house. I could see the excitement in his face after I made those promises to him in the woods.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with the pale face of Nina just at the entrance door. Her face was crimson red. Swollen. Cold.
One of the guards approached us and Nicholas stopped him to ask a few questions. So, I excused myself to be with Nina.
“Hey, What's wrong? Your face looks pale” My eyes search for answers in Nina’s eyes.
Nina was standing with hands crossed over her chest. Her countenance was sober as if she just lost someone very dear to her.
