Chapter Three

"So what did you think of the movie?" Aj asked, making me jump out of my seat and fall on my face. He laughed, and so did Haley and Scott. "I guess you didn't get any sleep last night, did you?"

Grabbing my backpack, I sighed. "No, I was studying for that English test." I replied.

Aj looked a little panicked. His eyes were popping out of his head. "Wait, we have an English test? When?!" We all laughed at his stupidness. Aj never pays attention to things like tests or quizzes. He says “As long as I turn in all the homework, I am perfectly fine!”

Just when I was about to answer him, I ran into something hard and fell. Did I just run into a wall? "Hey! Watch what you're..." I started but noticed it was Trevor. The new kid. Well, he's thick like a wall, I guess.

"Are you ok?" He asked as he put a hand out.

"He is so hot!" I heard some girl off to the side squeal.

"Ya, I know! Why is he helping her up?" Another girl sneered.

Rolling my eyes, I swat his hand away "Thanks but I don't need help." and got up myself. Good thing I have jeans on. I so don't need to be flashing anyone my underwear. The two girls that were talking before I got up gasped.

I rolled my eyes again and looked at them, saying slowly "Yes I am independent, K? Not every girl at this school thinks he." I stopped and pointed at Trevor. "Is hot. And to answer your question." I then pointed to the chick with black hair. "He tried to help me up to be nice, you dumb ass." they glared at me as they left. I really don't care.

"Nice. Maybe you're not so bad after all." Trevor whispered in my ear as he walked past me. I got a little flutter in my stomach as he did.

Haley had a fangirl moment as he walked past her. You know, the whole loving gaze, head tilting back just a little and a small sigh. I had a hard time not laughing at her a little.

"Not you too, Halz." Scott laughed, “I mean, come on.” Shaking his head, you can tell he's one hundred percent joking.

She put her hands up in surrender. "The guy is kind of sexy. I mean, he is sexier than you! And everyone knows you are the s*x God here." We all laughed on our way to our third hour of the day.

Scott cringed slightly “I wouldn't say s*x God considering I'm still a virgin. I might make out and other things, but I just haven't found anyone I wanted to bang yet.” He said, winking at other girls as we passed them. Oh Lord, help me. This boy is a real pain sometimes.

Only thirty more days until summer! I thought to myself as we walked into Math. Then I won't have to worry about any school work, no tests, and definitely no Jack! That will be the best part. I don't mind school, but when I have to be around Jack, it just ruins my day. He's always following me or butts in when he's not wanted. I feel off when I'm around him. Like I'm not safe.

"Ok, I'm not even going to try to explain what you just missed!" Haley said to Jenny. She got here before us because of her wanting to pick her seat before anyone else. She sits up front. Personally I think she might need glasses or contacts.

"I bet I know." she started to turn around in her seat with a grin on her face. "Little Miss Mira told two senior girls to shut the hell up. What's up with that?" Sighing and rolling my eyes, God knows how many times I've done that today, I said "No that's not what happened." People started to pay more attention to what I was saying.

Awesome! Hope you caught the sarcasm there. "Ugh! Ok, what really happened was I bumped into Trevor, the new kid." The girls all sighed lustfully, and the guys rolled their eyes. ‘Same guys. Same’ "The two girls were saying oh hes hot blah blah blah. " Then I said,'Not everyone likes him or thinks he is hot.' He was trying to help me up, but I didn't want it and got up myself. The two girls looked shocked, and I said 'Yes I am independent. And he was trying to be nice, so shut up, you dumb ass.' And that's how it went. Get your damn facts straight." I grumbled out, folding my arms across my chest.

The teacher came in, and we started class. Math is normally one of my favorite classes of the day, but I had a hard time focusing today. My head was hurting a lot. Putting my head down, I closed my eyes and fell asleep. Since I have an A in math, I didn't get in trouble. We were only going over fractions right now anyway.
