Chapter 20: Winter Break Trip

Onyx's POV

Dad rented us a hotel near this skiing place. It was freezing cold there. Taylor was shivering all alone since Gail wouldn't let him cuddle with her. Gail's face lit up suddenly when a familiar face popped up.

"Franklin!" Gail yelled running towards him before hugging him, making him smile and blush while hugging back.

"What are you doing here?" Franklin asked before looking around at us.

"A trip with the family, I didn't know you'd be here." she said smiling brightly.

"Well I-I work here." he said blushing more and looked down.

"Oh goody." Taylor and I said earning us both a smack on the back of the head from daddy, which made Alex giggle.

"Owwie." Taylor said rubbing where dad hit him pouting as I huffed at Alex for giggling, then I smirked and leaned in his face.

"Who are you laughing at?" I whispered and he gulped blushing.

"Y-You." he said and I smirked more as dad sent me a knowing look, smirking also while daddy sent me a knowing look mixed with a glare.

"Cadee leave the kids alone." dad said wrapping his arms around daddy making him blush.

"Ree-ah." daddy moaned softly blushing when dad bit his ear making Alex and Franklin blush.

"Okay kids time to go." I said turning them all away including myself from dad and daddy making a blushing Alex laugh. I smiled softly and kissed his yet warm head in this cold.

After getting equipment for skiing and putting it on we went on a lift to go on top of the hill. Alex and I shared our ride with Taylor so he wouldn't be so lonely. I held Alex's hand cuddling.

"Bleh." Taylor said and I shot him a glare while Alex blushed. "On our way back I'm riding with dad and daddy." he said and I smirked.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" I asked and he groaned crossing his arms.

"Yes, I just hope they don't do anything when I'm there." he grumbled as he sunk down in the seat and I laughed as we got to the top.

"So you must be very careful when skiing down." Franklin said as Gail smiled up at him holding onto his arm.

"Uh huh okay, Gail are you gonna ski?" I ask and she shrugs.

"Where ever Franklin goes I go." she said making him blush while Taylor and I roll our eyes.

"Whatever." Taylor huffed skiing without us making daddy frown.

"Taylor wait up!" daddy yelled and skied off making dad stumble after him.

"Cadee careful!" he yelled and skied after him.

Gail blinked but blushed when Franklin held her hand making her smile up at him before they skied off together, hand in hand. I glared then felt Alex tug my sleeve. I looked down at him and he was looking down at the snow blushing.

"Should we go help Mr.Ree- I mean Cadee find Taylor?" he asked looking up at me tilting his head and I smiled at how cute he was.

"Yes baby." I said kissing his head making him blush more and I entwined our fingers before we skied slowly down since neither one of us was really use to this.

We found daddy standing by Taylor who was sitting on a rock with his knees up buring his face in them. Dad was right beside daddy also.

"Taylor?" I said and he looked up slowly sniffling.

"Everyone....everyone has somebody there with them....Gail use to be that for me but now she's with that Franklin the turtle guy!" he cried and I bit my lip to keep from laughing making Alex glare at me so I fake coughed the laugh away.

"I know Tay." I said rubbing his back. "We're sorry...but we're still here." I said and he buried his face.

"It's not the same....I'm sorry..I know you guys are here but it's just....not the same." he said wiping his eyes.

Taylor's POV

Someone hit me on the head. I looked up and at first the sun shined down making me squint my eyes. I blinked away tears and me eyes widen. Gail smiled down at me shaking her head.

"You've always been a cry baby. I'm sorry bro." she said hugging me and I sniffled.

I looked all around me. Everyone was smiling and even her boyfriend was there smiling. I felt my lip quiver and I let out my cry hugging her back.

"I feel so alone." I whimlered as she rubbed my back. "We're twins....but you've left me.....I thought you would be the only one not to leave me!" I cried shaking as she shushed me.

"I'm sorry brother...but I'll always be here." she said patting where my heart was.

But...it's not the same.

I buried my face in her shoulder. She's so smart...so pretty......I'm average....everyone has someone by their side but me. Everyone busy while I'm trying to look for something to do.

"I wish.....I found someone to be with me...like you, Onyx, and daddy...." I said and they all frowned. I closed my eyes.

I'm sor...

I felt warmth and opened my eyes to find everyone hugging me. My eyes widen when I saw them all crying. Franklin stood there awkwardly and mouthed that he'd let us all have a family moment. I reached out for his arm when he tried to leave then pulled him in.

"Your family too....as long as you plan on marrying my sister." I said glaring and he laughed hugging.

"Yeah I do." he said and Gail blushed.

I smiled softly and pushed everyone off me but pushed those together. He blushed and she blushed more. He smiled and hugged her close. I huffed but smiled brightly wiping my eyes and felt someone patring my back. It was Onyx and he was smiling down at me. Their all right....I might feel alone but their all here for me still. Even when it doesn't feel like they are. But they are always there, especially Onyx and my parents of course.

"Thank you." I whispered and hugged Onyx who sorta froze but eventually hugged back smiling softly.
