CHAPTER ONE
(Raven’s Pov)
I woke up to sunlight blinding my eyes and clattering from downstairs amidst the chaos the voice of my mum yelling at my siblings and my dad barking orders. I roll my eyes and reach for my alarm clock. s**t!! I'm late
I practically jump out of bed and dash to the bathroom.
My name is “ Ravenna Lyra Raventhorn” Most people call me Raven cause to me it's cooler and less dramatic
I'm the only daughter of Alpha Alexandro Devon Raventhorn who happens to be the alpha of the Mooncrest pack. A park known across the werewolf kingdom for its strength and hospitality. This pack served as a refuge for all and my dad made sure to rule with love. Of course with the help of my mom Lucille Deville Raventhorn ; the shining star of the pack loved and admired by all for her calm, loving, sweet, and homely nature. She having come from a family of omegas understood what it felt like to be poor so she ensured everyone was treated fairly.
Then there's me the firstborn and soon-to-be pack leader. I was fierce, witty, and stubborn. But above all, I was a sweet girl who dreamt of finding her mate and living a romantic, happy-ever-after. I had a younger brother Anthonio Lucas Raventhorn : the baby of the house
He was sweet, way too sweet if u ask me. I guess my mum rubbed her charm on him a little too much. But I loved him anyway. He's three years younger than me. I'll be 18 tomorrow and my parents are throwing a feast cause tomorrow is the day I get to meet my mate and also shift.
And for some reason, I can't shake off this bad feeling about tomorrow
I sigh as I step out of the bathroom and start getting ready for school. We have a pack school where all the pack children attend. My dad made sure we all got proper education and training. I throw on a blue baggy jean and a crop shirt then pair it up with black platforms and brush out my hair. I'm a natural blonde with what people call a perfect body so trust me when I say I have lots of suitors already. But I only have eyes for my mate even tho I haven't seen him.
I pack my essentials into my backpack and head downstairs.
