A couple of pack members greet me as I drive past the pack house. I've had a car since I was 16, my parents got it for me on my 16th birthday and I've loved it ever since. My bestie Katherine is just coming out of her house I honk and she looks around. Her face lit up in a smile as she saw me
“Heyyyy bestieeee” she says entering the car
“Hey Kat, what's up” I say handing her an apple
“Im goooddddd…” She says biting into an apple blushing like a two-year-old. I know that look she has something interesting to say
“Spill” I say driving into the school premises she jerks looking surprised
“Sp..spill what?” she says biting her lip
“What or who’s making you blush”
“ uu…hmm.. no.. no one” she says looking out the window her face red as a tomato
“Yes there is and either you tell me or I force it outta you b***h” I state while getting out of the car
We just arrived at our school the building stands tall grey and gives your typical high school vibe. Teenagers running and walking around some heading to class others hanging around. Our pack flag hanging in the center of the compound besides the statue of my great great great grand father. They say he was the first alpha to build this school. People suddenly start noticing my presence some stare, some bow politely while others wave and call out. I just nod and continue my conversation with Kat who's walking beside me shoulders high face bratty. The blush on her face is replaced with a bossy attitude. Typical Kat she enjoys the power more than I do. She's red-haired, sharp-tongued bossy, and rude to everyone, except me, though.
Her dad is the beta and being the only child she was spoiled rotten. She's dumb too and I'm not saying this in a bad way but she's dumb really dumb. She's ur description of a dumb blonde except she's red-haired.
“So will u speak or should I force it out of ur throat” I say opening my locker
“Fine… I've been seeing a guy for two weeks now, he's very handsome and ur typical bad guy vibe but he's a rogue” she says and it takes me 3 seconds to process what she just said
“You're seeing a rogue!!!!!!!” I half tell and everyone turns in our direction. Some whispering the others staring
“Raven people can hear you!!” she shushes me. Shitt!! I forgot werewolves have super hearing
“What are y'all staring at” she shouts at the crowd in a very bossy tone and everyone immediately looks away
“Kat you know that's forbidden” I say my voice now a whisper. She rolls her eyes putting her hand on her waist
“Babes that law is old, the world is evolving, and besides Gray is a really great guy
“Gray?” I asked wide-eyed
“Yeah that's his name” she says shrugging
“Wait.. Isn't that the name of the rogue king’s son”
“Yep.. that's him” She says in a ‘I don't care’ manner
“For the love of the moon goddess Kathy for all we know he's dangerous” I say almost out of breath
“Relax Raven he's a good guy trust me” she says shutting her locker
“I just hope you know what you're doing” I say as we head to class
“I'm not a child Raven besides I don't want to end up like you single and lonelyyy” she says mockingly and I roll my eyes
She always seized every opportunity to mock me cause I haven't dated and I'm still a virgin. I didn't care I was waiting for my mate.
“Miss Raventhorn how nice of you to join us” the teacher Mr Andrew says sarcasm lacing his words
“The pleasure is all mine” I say matching his sarcasm with a sweet smile. He turns away visibly annoyed as I take a seat.
He obviously doesn't like me maybe the fact that he loved my mum but she loved and married my dad or the fact that I look exactly like him. Either way, he hated me for sure and I didn't care
