Flashbacks of visiting Ezra cloud my mind as we make our way to Everett’s room. I cling to Chelsea’s arm, walking blindly beside her. I am so grateful that she is here right now; I don’t think I would be doing so well if she weren’t. We pass many rooms on our way, each room housing someone sick or injured. I am once again amazed by the doctors and nurses that come here every day. They save people’s lives for a living; I don’t imagine there is anything greater or more stressful than that.
