I haven't been to work since I flew back from Sydney, so I had no choice but to come in today. I had a lot of meetings to catch up on with owners and my employees. Luckily, with Paul as my step in, everything has been going fine.  The day has gone quickly so far, but I can't stop thinking about Paige. I gave her the rest of the week off and I feel like I should be there with her, but I had no choice this time. I have just finished a training session on the track when the siren rings, signalling that it is lunch time already. I go to the canteen and get myself a serve of the lasagne that the cook has prepared and some coffee.  I find Paul sitting at a table with some of the stable hands.
