The Lone Wolf

I am an orphan, I was left on the Lockewood orphanage doors 21 years ago. I was left with nothing but a shabby blue blanket covered in holes. No one knows who my parents are or what pack I'm from... All I know is that I'm different from the pack I was adopted by. 20 years ago, I was adopted by Alpha Josh, and his wife Luna Lucy, Luna Lucy, could not bear children of her own, and that's why they adopted me. I had everything I ever needed and all the love a child could ever want... because I was the adopted son of Alpha and Luna of our pack, the pack obeyed me and protected me. However, that all changed... on my 10th birthday, Luna Lucy found out she was pregnant with twin boys, their very own heirs, and children, I was soon cast to the side. I was forgotten about everyone gushed over Luna Lucy and their new alphas. Everything changed once Cole and Jaxon were born, I became their personal maid. Now as to why I'm different... Everyone in the Lockwood pack had bright coloured fur. Every wolf had their shift change at 18 years old, and the change was painful and long but so worth it. I discovered I had black fur with red streaks and bright red piercing eyes. Once everyone found out, they started whisperering and gossiping. The pack approached the alpha and Luna with their fears of me being different. They wanted to cast me out, but Alpha Josh put a stop to it all straight away "He is still my adopted son," roared Alpha Josh I was shocked to hear the word "son" come out of my adopted father's mouth, especially with how he and his Luna forgot all about me and treated me so horribly. You could tell Luna Lucy was not happy with the words her Alpha husband spoke as the bright gleaming smile turned into a frown instantly, the twins rolled their eyes and sneared at me. " taunting or gossiping will be a punishable offence, however to put your minds at rest Hardin is not the next Alpha inline, my true sons Cole and Jaxon will take my place on their 18th Birthdays" announced Alpha Josh, I knew once the twins where born I would not be Alpha but tell me why those words pierced my heart. The next 3 years where torture, Luna Lucy fired their hired help to be able to have more money for their already spoiled sons. I did all of the housework by myself while also being tormented by Cole and Jaxon.
