The next few weeks Asia hadn't said a word to me. She's still upset, and I really don't understand why! This is my life why is she mad at what goes on in it! We were at lunch, we still sit together- her, me and Natalie- but now everyone just stays silent. I sighed and looked at Asia, "Your birthday is coming up, what are you doing for it?" I asked.
"I'm having a dinner." She said putting ranch on her salad, not looking at me back.
"Where? Am I invited?" I laughed.
She shrugged. "It's not really an invite thing. If you show up you show up, if you don't then you don't."
"Well where is it?" I sipped my smoothie. "I'll come."
"Benihana." She finally looked at me, "Starts at 4."
I nodded. "Great, you'll see me."
After school I went straight to Dave's house. Since I have a key now, I went straight inside. "Dave?" I called out. I closed the door and seen he was at the table on the phone, writing something on a piece of paper.
"Okay thanks....Bet......I'll come by sometime this week to pick which one I want.....Alright see you then" He hung up and looked at me. "What up ma'."
"Who was that?" I asked sitting next to him.
"These bounce house people, I'm throwing Kairi a big birthday bash."
I raised my eyebrow. "How cute! What's the theme?"
"I was thinking rainbows." He looked at me. "Is that corny?" He laughed. "I'm a guy I don't know how to plan kid parties especially no lil' girl."
"No rainbows are cute." I said. "When's the party?"
"This Saturday, you coming?"
"Is this you inviting me?"
He shrugged. "Yeah I guess."
"Wait this Saturday?" I thought for a moment. "This Saturday is Asia's birthday dinner." I groaned.
"I thought y'all wasn't speakin'."
"I mean she's still mad but no matter what we're still friends." I sighed, "And I have to make it to her dinner."
"Do what you gotta do then." He said standing up, he walked into the kitchen and made himself a bowl of cereal.
"I can do both." I said. "Her dinner starts at 4."
"Kairi's party starts a 3." He laughed.
I shrugged, "I'll make it both. I promise."
Saturday
"Well don't you look cute." Alexis complimented.
I smiled and rubbed her tummy, "So do you. When do you know the gender?" I asked.
"It's only been a couple of weeks." She laughed.
"Have you talked to Quincy?"
She shook her head no. "Not yet, I'm not even sure I wanna tell him." She sighed.
"Why not? He's the father Lex maybe he wanna be in his childs' life."
"Yeah but, it'll be too much. Besides we don't even now eachother, how can we raise child together?"
I furrowed my brows. "Your child is going to grow up asking where their father is Lex."
"I know I know. I'm still thinking. Ready to go?"
I looked at her. "Uh, I'm gonna go do something really fast and then I'll meet you there."
"What do you have to do on your bestfriends birthday?" She laughed. "Oh I get it." She smirked. "It better be a good present." With that being said she left out the house.

I arrived at Kairi's party and it was very well done. It was a ton of people there, and it was just overall amazing. I seen Dave and Kairi in the corner, and Dave was talking on his phone. I smiled and waved at Kairi.
She just stared at me, I handed her a gift bag and she hesitated, but took the bag and smiled lightly. Dave got off the phone and looked at me. "Wassup ma you look good."
"So do you." I kissed him lightly, "The party looks great."
"Thanks I worked hard on this shit." He sighed and looked at Kairi. "Kai did you say hey to Morgan?"
Kairi looked at me and waved before laying her head on Dave's shoulder. "She's so cute." I complimented.
"Thank you, let's go ova here." He said. I followed him to some tables and sat down, he sat Kairi beside me and took off her jacket. "Y'all hungry?" He asked.
Kairi nodded and I shook my head no. "I'm gonna save my appetite for Asia's dinner." I told him. He left and came back with two slices of pizza for him and Kairi.
After they were done, Kairi ran off to play with some other kids in the bounce house and on the humongous slide. Dave and I talked and laughed for awhile, and I met a couple more people from his side of the family.
"Morgan?" I turned around and seen Natalie.
"Hey!" I smiled.
She sat next to me. "Why are you here? Asia's dinner is starting soon."
"Why are you here? Asia's dinner is starting soon." I repeated.
"I told her I couldn't make it because it's my little nieces birthday I have an excuse."
"And So do I. I can be fashionably late to a dinner it'll be like a hour wait anyway." I said rolling my eyes. "I have to build a bond with Kairi if I'm going to be around her father." She shook her head and didn't say anything, "What?" I asked.
"Nothing." She sighed, she stood up. "I can't keep telling you my opinion or giving you my advice. Have fun." She said before walking away. I shrugged it off and Dave walked towards me.
"Come on Kairi wants you to go down the slide with her." He said.
"Does she really or you just want me to?" I laughed.
He shrugged. "Maybe it's like 50/50." He laughed back.
I walked over to the slide and got on it with Kairi, we slid down about ten times as Dave kept taking pictures. After awhile, I decided to call it quits. "Okay I have to go, it's 4:30 I'm suppose to be at Asia's dinner." I said.
"Alright." Dave kissed my forehead. "Thanks for coming, stop by later."
I said okay and walked over to Kairi who was getting out of the bounce house, I waved goodbye. "Bye Kairi I had fun!" I said.
She walked closer to me with a puppy dog look on her face. "No." She whispered. She grabbed my hand lightly and looked at me, "Stay Morgan."

Two hours later I ran in Benihana, everyone was packing up their food and putting on their coats. "f**k!" I groaned. "I'm so sorry Asia I lost track of time and I-"
"Save it Morgan." She scoffed. "What kind of friend are you? Natalie told me you were at that little girls' party. We were already on bad terms and now you f****d it up even more for a nigga who f*****g beats on you." She slid pass me. "f**k you. You're dead to me."
I was in shock, Alexis was looking at me shaking her head. "You know that was wrong Morg."
I stayed silent and watched everyone leave, I sat in a chair and started balling my eyes out, I really am a bad friend.
