I knew I should get up and try to stop the battle that’s started to wage, but I can’t bring myself to interrupt his sleep. All I want to do is stare down at his peaceful face. I’m glad he’s enjoying his rest. He groaned a little and I got all warm inside as his eyelids fluttered open. “Hey,” I whispered. He shot up almost sending me falling off the bed. Only his quick reflexes saved me from a date with the floor. “Willow! You can talk?” I grinned and nodded. “Yeah, I think the poison might have worn off!” He shook his head as he frowned at me. “I don’t think so, the way everyone talked.” He shook his head. “But as long as you’re feeling okay, it doesn’t matter now.” He enfolded me into his arms and squeezed me until my bones creaked in protest. “I’m so sorry-” I put a hand to his lip
