Cara's P.O.V.

As the dinner finished, I went up to my parent's and asked to be excused for the evening. " May I please rest for the remainder of the evening. I have had quite a long day." I said as I courtsied to my parent's the King and Queen. " Of course my dear, but remember to say goonight to your fiance." My mother announced. I walked back to where Adrian was talking to some other men, they bowed at my approachment.

" Princess, what may we do for you?" said one of the men who was devishily handsome but I just brushed up against my fiance, trying to play the part. " I was just coming to say goodnight, I am exhausted from today's activities. " as I grabbed his hand. " Oh my love, let me escort you to your room. Good Evening gentlemen, we will continue this conversation later." he said as he held my arm and we walked up the stairs. I was nervous with this man, he didn't give me a good feeling about this.

" Don't worry my dear, I won't try anything to strenous on you tonight. " he said as we made it to the top step. I glanced around for Shawn, but he was nowhere in sight. I was hoping he was close by, I was scared to be alone with Prince Adrian. We walked down the hallway and I opened the door closest to us, leading to my bedroom.

Adrian closed the door and locked it as I walked towards the bed. I turned around and he took my shoulder and pushed me back on to the bed. " What are you doing?" I asked him as I tried to get back up. " What I want, you will soon be mine anyway and I cannot wait to take your virtue" he smiled at me as he pushed my body down with his.

" Get off of me!" as I tried to push him off with my arms and tried to kick his legs but he was stronger than me.

" Ahh, a fiesty one. I like it" as he started licking and kissing my neck. I continued to try to struggle, but he kept his hands on wrists and wouldn't let me up. " I'm about to tie you to the bed if you don't behave" he said as he slapped my face. " What is wrong with you?!" I screamed and started crying.

"Leave me alone! Help!" I yelled as he took his hankerchief and stuffed it into my mouth. I tried to spit it out but he pushed it too far down.

Knock, Knock, Knock

" Princess are you okay?" I heard someone ask. "She is fine, now leave" Adrian said as he tried to unzip my dress and as soon as he was about to take it off, Shawn unlocked the door. I was never happier to see him in my life.

Shawn's P.O.V.

As I watched the Gala, I knew already that Cara was not being herself. She looked as though she was bored and worried. I watched her as Prince Adrian escorted her to her bedroom and then when I noticed he never came out, I became worried. I heard muffled screaming and knew that was my cue to check on her. If he had laid one hand on her so help me God, I was about to kill him myself.

" Princess are you okay?" "She is fine, now leave." When I heard that, I knew I better check on her myself. As I unlocked the door, the sight to be seen broke my heart. Cara was laying upon the bed with something in her mouth as her dress was unzipped, and I could see the handprints already forming on her wrists.

Her cheeks were covered with tears and mascara as she looked frightened to death. I had to come up with an excuse to get the Prince out of here, before I killed him with my bare hands.

" Prince Adrian, you are needed in the ballroom at this moment. The King and Queen have requested your presence at once." thinking as fast as I could. " Fine, I will go. he said but then looked back at Cara who was scared to death. " We will finish this later" as he walked past me and left. I shut the door and locked it. I rushed over to her as she slowly got up and took out the hankerchief that was in her mouth. " Are you okay, my love?" I asked her as she looked so torn as she held her hand head in her hands.

I sat down next to her on the bed and held her close to me as she continued to sob. " I was so scared, I told him to leave me alone and he wouldn't. It just made him angrier and I was afraid of what he was going to do next" as she just fell into me.

" Well I'm here now and I won't ever leave your side again" as I looked down to her and tilted her chin to look in her beautiful eyes trimmed with tears. I took my hand and gently brushed the tears as she looked at me. " Will you just hold me tonight?" she asked me gazing into my eyes.

" Of course, Princess" as I got up and took off my suit jacket and removed my side holster. She watched me as I got undressed to get a bit more comfortable. I took off my shoes and then took off my ankle holster. " How many guns do you have?" she asked me curiously. "Well I have two on my person at all times, but sometimes I have three or four when we are out and about." as I laid back down on the bed with her. " I'm going to change real quick, please don't leave" she begged as she walked into the en suite bathroom. This girl has already got me wrapped around her finger.
