Cheng Mei as a child grew up without her father,he had died of lung cancer when she was three years old,and she and her mum had lost everything they once owned. By the age of five she was struggling to go by,no one wanted to be friends with her. Her mother had tried her best to give Cheng Mei both love of a father and a mother but it was too much. Cheng Mei was a beautiful young toddler and at the age of five she already knew the pains of the world. She was as strong as she is brave. "Mother Mother! I want ice-cream please" exclaimed Cheng Mei looking up at her mother with her round beady eyes. Cheng Mei had a lovely oval face with baby fats still on her cheeks,her plump lips always set in a straight line,they were now in a pout,She had blue orbs for eyes they are so bright you would love them. Her beauty made her the envy of many mother's but her eyes mad her the easy target for the bully's. Cheng Mei and her mother where in Z city right now,it had been two months since they moved here from Y city. Mu Leng was Cheng Mei's mother and her late father was Bai Suo.Before he died he loved and cherished his wife and daughter he was friendly to all,but as soon as he died his family took everything from his wife and daughter and kicked them on the streets. Looking down at her daughter,My Leng could not help but smile. "Sure Darling".she said holding her daughter's hand and walking into the ice-cream shop.'dling'the door bell rings as they step into the ice-cream shop."Hello Sweetie what can I get you?"asked the lady who was behind the counter looking at Cheng Mei with a smile on her face. Seeing as the lady was smiling at her,she hid behind her mother and brought her head back to look at the beautiful woman in front of her and smiled. "Oh Mei,she won't hurt you,she just wants to know what you want honey"Mu Leng tried to persuade her daughter to come out but it only resulted in the girl hugging her legs tighter. "Don't worry about that,I know what to do".The lady comes out from behind the counter and kneels down in front of Cheng Mei."Hello Sweetie,my name is Lu Mei what is your name"she asked with a smile on her face. Hearing the lady's name mad Cheng Mei eyes lit up and go wide."your name is Mei?"she asked with her tiny voice." Yes". replied Lu Mei still looking at the innocent girl with blue eyes in front of her.her eyes did draw her close for some reason."My name is Cheng Mei!"She exclaimed looking at the lady in the eyes. Looking at the young girl who had the same name as her the lady smiled.This little girl had the same name as her she was cute and adorable and had blue eyes. "Okay Mei,can I call you Mei?"she asked the little girl who was no longer behind her mother."Yes that's what i like being called "Cheng Mei replied with a smile. "what sort of ice-cream do you want?" Lu Mei asked Cheng Mei."Strawberry and vanilla ice cream can you add chocolate please?"she exclaimed."okay"said the lady."Hang on miss"said My Leng. Bending to her daughter's level My Leng spoke to her in a gentle and quiet voice."Mei the ice-cream is too much honey,just get one flavor okay honey, mommy doesn't have much money today".she told her daughter."oh I am sorry mommy I forgot,can you forgive me please" she said looking down at her feet.. Seeing her daughter's expression Mu Leng was sad,if only she could do something better for her daughter. Seeing the mother and daughter duo looking sad Lu Mei said "Here your Ice-cream Mei"smiling at both of them. "oh no I'm sorry but we can't accept that Miss I'm sorry,we will just have the strawberry ice cream please"said My Lang."I know but this is a gift to Mei since we share the same name and since we are friends, please accept it"Lu Mei said.Looking at her daughter again she accepted it "thank you Miss Lu".she said smiling at the woman "Mei,your Ice-cream darling"Looking up to see all the ice cream flavor Cheng Mei smiled and said "thank you Auntie Lu". holding the ice-cream Cheng Mei and Mu Leng went to sit down and My Leng watched her daughter like the ice-cream with a smile on her face.
