finding herself, her mate and her family

Chapter Five

Ruby's POV;

"Sapphire, you go get ready for bed, wail I go get ready to I will take only a couple of minutes," I say to Sapphire I nip into my room to get changed and back to Sapphire she is back in bed,  I jump in behind her and wrap my arm around her and lay with her I know she will talk when she is ready. After about 10 minutes, Sapphire turns around to face me.

"Ruby, why did he do that in front of everyone that is what was the worse bit?" Sapphire asks me.

"Well, Sapphire, when a wolf turns 18, they gain the ability to sense, smell as all wolf's specific smell that is only appealing to your mate. We have the choice to accept or deny them. If we do accept them, then we are with them for the rest of our lives. When you first time you ever smell your mate, something takes over you, and you can't stop yourself no matter how hard you try." I say to her.

"who was that, I mean he is hot and everything but what do I do now how can I face everyone now," Sapphire asks me.

 "He is Cameron. He is Alpha Liam's oldest son and the packs next Alpha, so if you accept you will be the packs next Luna, and I don't think Cameron wanted to do that in front of everyone, he's not that type of person," I tell her.  

 I can see the tears fall down Sapphire's face I can see the pain in her eye's as well through our link, we move to sit up and sit side by side with my arm around her.

"What's up, Sapphire. I am here you can talk to me," I let her know I'm here.

"It's hard Ruby,  with not growing up in the pack, I don't know what is what yet I usually am so independent and just get on with things and not knowing everything that I should know it's hard I don't like asking for help, I hope you can understand where I am coming from," Sapphire explains to me. 

"I feel like I am in a maze and don't know if I should go back or keep going forward, I just wish someone would pick me up and take me to the end where I would know everything that I need to know, or that I was never taken it would be so much easier for me I wouldn't need all of this help, I am glad I am back with all of you I feel complete now I am home I always felt like something was missing never knowing why but now I do it was you all I am so messed up," Sapphire says as tears roll down her face.

"I will be here with you through it all, and that there is nothing that will stop her,  all the family would help you, Sapphire," I say. "I know how you feel. I knew it was you that was missing. I am over the moon that you are back. I feel whole again I could never lose you again, we will be together forever now," I say to her as we rest on each other. 

"Let's lay down and get some sleep," I say to Sapphire as we are getting tired. Sapphire fell asleep with my cuddled up to her soon after I fell asleep as well.

Sapphire's POV; 

I woke up I panicked a little as I thought I was back in texas I looked around and saw mum. "Morning sweetheart, Ruby spoke to me about what you talked about last night," mum said as she came over and cuddled me, "I spoke to your dad and your brother's, and they all said they would help you," Mum told me.

 As we were talking, there was a knock on the door. "Come in," I shout.

In walks Luna with some pancakes with bacon, "I have some breakfast for you," Luna says as she walks over to my bed. I sat and ate it all wail mum was telling Luna about what Ruby and I were talking about last night.

"Sapphire, I spoke to Cameron last night, he felt so bad after you ran off and he tried to come and see you, but Kay said its best to leave you till you are ready to see him, but he is very sorry that it happened in front of everyone," Luna explains. 

"I am sorry for running off. I didn't know what to do, so I got out of there," I told Luna.

"I understand and so does Liam and so will Cameron when I see him I will let him know," Luna says as she leave's "Thank you," I say to Luna just before she closes my door. 

 Ruby walked in and jumped on my bed. Over the next couple of days, I had some assessment for my GED to see what subject's I need to do to have all my GED's. 

"Have you spoken to Cameron yet it's been 3 days since the party you need to go talk to him it's not fair on Cameron," Ruby says to me when we are sat in her room talking? "No, I haven't spoken to him, he has come up to me, but I just turn around and walk away, I don't know what to say to him," I tell Ruby.

"You need to talk to him it's not fair on him if you keep doing that to him," Ruby snapping at me a little.

"I know, I should but what do I say to him?" I asked her.

The next day I ended bumping into Cameron, he just looked at me, and he was going to walk away. I took a deep breath. "Cameron I am sorry that I have always walked away I just don't know how all of this works, are you free to talk now?" I asked trying to smile at him

  "I am free to talk now, and I would like to say that I am so sorry for what had happened at the party I really didn't mean to do it, I felt so bad over the last couple of days," Cameron said apologising.  

"We can go talk in my room if you are ok with that," I asked Cameron.

We got to my room. I sat on my bed, and Cameron sat in the chair. "I wish I knew what to say I am new to all things pack life I haven't even been home for a week yet I didn't know what it was you said to me until Ruby told me that night and I am sorry for always walking away when you wanted I didn't know what to say to you, so I just walked away I couldn't face you, please forgive me," I asked him.

"After I spoke to my mum and she explained it all I didn't know you had only been a day I wish I could have stopped myself, but I couldn't help myself, your scent was so strong I had never smelt anything like it, it was all my favourite things I love the smell of and the urge took over me I couldn't control myself I needed to find where the smell was coming from then I saw you, and when I shaw you and you were looking at me, when I looked in your eyes I knew then, I always wanted to find my mate and never knew why, I through something was wrong with me, I am sorry that it happened as it did, I wouldn't want to do it that way, I would really like to get to know you," Cameron said with a sad look on his face. 

"I would like to get to know you too, but please I would like to be just friends for now, and if we end up having feelings for each other we take it slow till my 18 birthday, that way we will know if you are my mate and neither of us will get hurt too bad," I say trying to take my mind off. How hot he is and how much I want to kiss him. 

"The pack does a movie drive-in, I would like to take you if that is ok," he asks me "I would like that," I say to him.

 Cameron got up to leave "I was thinking of watching a movie. Would you like to watch one with me, you can choose it we could get comfy on my bed to watch it?" I ask him with a pleading smile on my face. Why don't want him to go I need him close, is this what it's going to feel like to be with my mate. 

"Ok, I have got one I loved watching the first one don't know if you will like it," he says to me with a giggle.

"Why what have you chosen to watch, please not a horror movie, don't do well with horror's," I say to him know he has.

"I have not seen this one yet," he says with a smile. How could I get mad at him with that smile?

"Fine but I am warning you now you might have a bad arm in the morning from me, I am a big wimp when it comes to horror movie's," I say with my pillow at the ready.

Cameron's POV;

After I press play on the DVD player Sapphire moves a little closer, I can't stop looking at her the way her hair fall's around her face and the way it makes her beautiful green eye's stand out more. I could look at her all the time. I have been lucky enough that she hasn't court me looking yet.

"You can always cuddle up if you would like I don't mind, I will even put my arm around you if it would make you feel better," I say to her with a smirk on my face. 

The look on her face, makes me think that she knows what is why I put this one on her look makes me giggle. She soon follows me and its the cutest thing I have ever heard, and I would do anything to hear it again, she makes me smile just looking at her, I have fallen hard for her I can't wait till her 18 birthday, and she knows what I know already that we are meant to be together.

 Sapphire, only last's only 40 minutes into the film and I had my arm around her I can't stop laughing at her, every time she jumps or hides behind her pillow. 

"You do know that I am going to have to watch a chick flick so I can sleep tonight or I will be having nightmares all night," Sapphire says to me.  

"I can go if you would like me to?" I asked her not wanting to leave her yet.

"You are more cumfy then my pillows, but I would like you to stay if you want to," she says to me with a smile on her face.

"Ok, I will stay just for this one then we both must get some sleep," I say to her as I lift my arm for her to cuddle up.

As we watch the film I can feel her dozing off on my chest, it feels so right been with her. When the film is finished, I get up to leave, and she walks me to her door. 

"Thank you for letting me spend time with you and explain about the night of the party, I am so sorry for how it happened, good night Sapphire," I say I love the way her name sounds when I say it.   

"I am sorry for making you wait so long to talk to me, I enjoyed tonight even with the horror movie, Thank you," she says to me and hugs me and kissed me on the cheek. 

I don't want to leave her, and by the feel of it, she doesn't want to let me go, so I hug her back and kiss her on the head and let her go. "Good night Sapphire," I say to her, wail I move some of her hair out of her face and look into her eyes I could get lost in her eyes and all I want to do is kiss her, but I leave, and she watches me leave.

Sapphire's POV;

I stand and watch him walk away, but all I want is to cuddle up to him all night, I wait till I can't see him, then go back into my room and get ready for bed. When I come out, Ruby was sat on my bed.

"Come on then tell me everything!!," she says to me all excited.

"Well, I asked him to come and talk, and we did then we watched a couple of films we were cuddled up, and it was nice, and it felt right, as we said goodnight I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, he hugged me back and gave me a kiss on the head, then he tucked some of my hair behind my ear, and we looked each other in the eyes, and I wanted to kiss him so bad I have never felt this way before, and I have never had a boyfriend ever, what do I do Ruby, what if when we turn 18 he is not my mate?" I ask her feeling the weight of what I said sink in.

"If you are really meant to be you will be and just hearing you talk like, I think you already know," she says to me with a sympathetic look on her face.

"I can feel what you are feeling, and I know you won't let yourself truly fall for him till the but get to know him before you do anything," she tells me.  

"Thank you, Ruby, I am so glad I have you," I say to her and hug her.

"Goodnight Sapphire," she says with a smile as she went back into her room.

I get into bed, and all I can think of is Cameron and how could I fall for him so fast, I can't wait till I turn 18.
